We rested at the hotel from 08/27/11 to 09/10/11 with a child of 3 years (therefore, the review will probably be more interesting to parents)
The hotel was chosen long and meticulously. But still, we were very worried that the hotel might not be the way it was painted. Friends, as soon as they found out that we were going to 4 stars, and not 5, as usual, they immediately said disappointedly “well, somehow it doesn’t look like you, it’s 4 stars... ”, which instilled doubts in our souls... I’ll tell you right away there are no traces of doubt left on the first day of stay at the hotel. This four is head and shoulders above some fives.
We lived in the main building block A. It turns out to be the farthest from the beach (5-10 minutes at a very slow pace with a 3-year-old child with stops to see the local wildlife - frogs, turtles, birds). But it was convenient to go to the restaurant and the reception. By the way, the proximity of the reception is also a big plus - in our room the Internet was perfectly caught. Of the tiny drawbacks - if you sleep with an open balcony, you can hear the buses arriving at night and in the morning (but I’ll make a reservation right away, they rarely come, so it’s not very annoying). The room was cleaned well, no complaints. The air conditioner freezes just fine too. By the way, I once read in one review that it was “blowing” for additional. place and had to peck with a bag - why such difficulties? The flaps of the air conditioner can simply be “turned” in the right direction (in this case, from the additional place where the child slept - which we did successfully) - this procedure was performed by the husband, standing on a chair.

Everywhere in the reviews I read that there are no bath accessories at all. I was pleasantly surprised by a small present in the form of a washcloth and soap in a box. By the way, liquid soap was also available at the sink... Indignation about the lack of these accessories always made me laugh. If you don’t ask anyone: “do you use hotel shampoo / soap”, you usually see a surprised face and “of course not, I’m bringing my own” (like my hair can only tolerate a certain brand of shampoo). But nevertheless, everyone is stubbornly indignant when there is no shampoo / soap in the hotel...
The main selection criterion was the presence of a beautiful beach and a smooth entry into the sea for a child - there were already many reviews on this topic. I simply have not seen a more beautiful beach in Turkey (sandy). And most importantly, you are not afraid for the child, because. finely. The sea is very clean and transparent - which is so rare in places where the beach is sandy. The only thing that spoiled it a little was the waves in the afternoon (it is clear that it was nature). But this is how to look at this fact of course. On the contrary, my husband was super, as he is a lover of a sailing catamaran, so the wind and waves in the afternoon are just right for him. By the way, sailing is very well developed there.
Pleasantly surprised by the lack of cigarette butts on the beach. It probably still affects the fact that there are significantly more Germans than Russians (when they rested, there were about 60 percent of Germans, about 30 percent of Russians, and all the rest - the remaining 10). Or maybe because the audience (Russians, I mean) was quite cultured (after all, the hotel is not cheap for 4 stars and correctly read the phrase somewhere “those who do not have money for such a cost will not go here, and those those who have it will choose 5k with an ultra all for the same money”).
But in general, the staff on the beach works perfectly - they constantly collect dirty dishes, clean the sand in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that there were bins for children's diapers (we didn’t need it anymore, but we remembered how in past years we puzzled over where to throw it away). The toilet on the beach even has a children's toilet 

As for the beds. In principle, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. The first week the hotel was full to capacity. We came to the beach at 10:00 or 10:00 am. 95% of sunbeds are occupied. BUT! We have never been left without a fungus and sunbeds. It doesn’t matter to us where we will lie - the first line or the last - therefore, the sunbeds have never been occupied for the entire vacation (in general, we consider this very ugly). Although some people occupied them at 6-7 in the morning (well, if it is of fundamental importance for them where to lie, and if they can’t sleep in the morning, then they can be occupied) - I don’t see any sense in this at all. No one complained that there were not enough sunbeds on the beach (and there were such cases with us personally, but in OTHER hotels). Later, the number of people decreased, there were more than enough sunbeds for everyone, but some enthusiasts continued to go to take sunbeds at 7 in the morning (making surprised eyes when they heard that we had never occupied them).
Enough about the food already. Everything is delicious. For example, in some hotels (5 hotels) there are no octopuses, squids, shrimp, mussels, red fish in general - and here these seafood were found quite often (not every day, but they were).
As for feeding a child, say, a year or two, you can. Of course, not 10 dishes will be a choice for crumbs - but it is possible to find something (for breakfast, there are always pancakes, scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs, fresh vegetables, muesli, cheese, bun, for lunch: rice or mashed potatoes or stewed vegetables or pasta, stew or chicken or turkey, soup, fruits, fresh vegetables, for dinner - it's even easier to find something because there is a large selection). Yes, of course, for lunch, the choice is still limited for the baby, but I think you won’t remain hungry. There is NO Nestlé food declared.
Our daughter has never eaten normally at all (but I just look at it) - not because it’s not tasty or there’s nothing to feed, but it’s clear because there are a lot of impressions and she all had to run somewhere - so they ate snacks - then a bun , then a tomato, then an apple with a milkshake, then ice cream, when she asks. I normally treat this on vacation and live by the principle “the child will not remain hungry” (especially when he already knows how to speak).
Our friend (and we went with friends - they have a baby 1.8) fed the child in the room (well, for some reason the baby did not like the restaurant, he categorically refused to eat) - they absolutely calmly gave her food. In the room, the child ate everything - I mean, if your child does not want to eat, you can also try to feed him in the room.
By the way, as a plus to the restaurant - in one of the premises of the main restaurant during dinner, a cartoon is shown on the screen. Therefore, children who have eaten either watch cartoons or play (run and jump). Parents can eat at this time.

In the bar at the main restaurant in the evening they make very tasty cocktails (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) - be sure to ask for the cocktail menu - it is in Russian (everything is painted what it consists of).
For kids, they give out a pot and a kettle in the room - also a pleasantly surprised fact.
About strollers. We didn't take ours with us. In the city we almost never use it, if only for long walks. They didn't really count on them here. We decided that if we go / go we will ask for a stroller already at the hotel. In general, they asked for a stroller once (you contact the reception). It seems that there were few people with strollers from the hotel (despite the fact that almost everyone here had a child), basically everyone was with their own. But when they gave us the stroller, they apologized very much and said that it was the last one. The stroller was killed just completely. I'm surprised she was still driving. We didn’t care about the aesthetic side, so they took it. But the conclusion suggests itself (I read somewhere in the reviews that there are a lot of new strollers in the hotel) that either the strollers are completely killed during the season, or there are still not as many of them as we would like... In defense, I’ll still say that the strollers I saw from others were in fairly good condition (not new of course). Well, you don’t need to blame the staff for the fact that “all the worst is Russian”. We then saw “our” stroller with a Turkish family (we handed over the stroller immediately after we took a walk).
We went with our daughters for a walk to the blue grotto. She really liked it, even without fear she swam with us in the sea - apparently she was impressed by such beautiful water. The walk is very pleasant, stress-free. As for traveling with younger children, you need to look at the child. If you swim well in the sea, then it’s worth going (there are plenty of those who refuse to swim in the sea at the age of 2 - ours was one of them last year - definitely not a trip for them). Since in principle the whole walk is a stop with a swim. There is nothing else for kids to do. Even for the sake of hares, it’s not worth going, because. they are at the very end (and we bathed and rested for almost 2.5 hours) - during this time the child can get very tired

Our dad took us on a catamaran - my daughter also liked it.
We still found one single small flaw (but to be honest, after digging a lot). For some reason the playground doesn't work after the mini club closes. No, it works informally - open the gate yourself, come in... BUT! It doesn't have any lights on it. It is clear that in the dark (and at half past seven in the evening it is already full dusk, at eight o'clock) there is absolutely nothing to do on the site with the child. I remember in other hotels, after dinner and before the mini-disco, everyone always walked on the playground... And here you don’t know where to “adjust” the child. The coating on the site is bad - some kind of bark, it stains clothes very much (but this is so - already nitpicking  )). The mini-club itself is very good - a lot of toys, there is a wonderful Russian-speaking animator.
As for the animation itself. She is very quiet. That is, all the entertainment (volleyball, boccia, archery, etc. ) is of course there. But no one pulls you by the hands or by the legs to play - in my opinion this is a big plus. I wanted to go myself. Evening performances are mostly "visiting" artists. I won’t say that it’s super-duper (far from the strongest animation), but in general it’s normal (there was Turkish folklore, burlesque, Kenyan acrobats, Mongolian acrobats, fire shows, etc. ).
We went to the local village. They trade badly. Even on the market day (Sunday) - the market is probably ¼ part of Belekovsky (which we used to consider small with my husband). The choice is small - everything is the same. Since we didn’t really need anything in Ortaca (Friday is market day), we didn’t go, we bought everything here in the village.

In general, the hotel is perfect for a quiet holiday. You can travel with kids. But with children from 6 years old - probably I would not go, they will be bored. All the same, the animation is more “quiet” (drawing, painting, modeling), such as “kindergarten”. I just remember in other hotels there were always games for children "pirates", "lightning", "treasure hunt", "Indians", etc. (i. e. mobile and exciting) - there is no such thing here. Well, there are no slides in the bass (it’s good for me), but I know how many children love them...
By the way, about mosquitoes (I remember this question worried many). I was bitten by only one for the whole stay. On the daughter - 3 bites. In short, the devil is not as scary as he is painted (and it is clear that September is no longer the time for mosquitoes)...
Many pensioners (German). I met ours, but basically they were all terribly dissatisfied - as there are many children who interfere with their screaming. Therefore, if you want a secluded vacation, this is not the place for you either.
And finally, I will say: we are going here next year. And let our friends say “it’s 4k”, but we found here everything we need for a good rest…
