We returned from the Crystal Admiral hotel yesterday, June 27.2007. Themselves from Kyiv, went through the Lik-tour. The ticket was taken for 11 days, 10 nights. Abroad we rest for the first time, in Turkey - the fourth.

In Boryspil, the flight was delayed for 1 hour, from Antalya they also flew out with a delay of 1 hour. But, apparently, this was not a problem of a certain company, because together with ours, all 4 flights to Kyiv were delayed, which went with a difference of 30-40 minutes.

Before the trip, I re-read all the reviews I found about the hotel (there are not very many of them), I was pleasantly surprised by the small percentage of negative reviews like “everything is bad, this is not 5 stars, but 2, there is a bad attitude towards Russians and, in general, Turks are impudent. ” I decided to go and see everything with my own eyes.

I must say right away that the rest was a success and we are very satisfied. To the extent that I am ready to recommend this hotel to my friends.

My husband and I belong to the category of people who try to objectively look at reality, not to spoil the rest for themselves and people, not to spit in the well and not to be rude to everyone around. In short, we have fun and everywhere we try to see the positive, which is what we wish you too))

So, about the hotel. SETTLEMENT. We arrived quite late - around 11 am (we had an evening flight, which was also delayed, as I mentioned). There were no problems with the settlement - they settled instantly, gave out bracelets and showed where the restaurant was, where you could dine until midnight. About the fact that there is no late dinner - a lie. The only thing we were limited in was that alcohol was removed at 12 at night, as it is written in the rules.

VIEW FROM WINDOWS. The room was given on the 2nd floor, with a balcony not to the courtyard, but to the outside - we went out onto a large wasteland and was located just above the restaurant.
This suited us perfectly for several reasons, so it didn’t even occur to us to go to the reception and download the rights. Reasons why you should not bathe in the “wrong” view: the courtyard, of course, is attractive (why? ), but there is always animation, music, squealing children and other activity. If you want to sleep after dinner, you won't fall asleep. We had silence, occasionally interrupted by squeals and the clatter of two children behind the wall (Russians or Ukrainians - we did not get to know each other). The hotel, as you can see in the pictures, stands sideways to the sea, so ALL the rooms there have a side sea view)). That is, if the strip of the sea on the horizon is so important to you, you will have it)) The kitchen and the restaurant below us did not interfere in any way - you just had to make sure not to lean out naked on the balcony so as not to embarrass the waiters  Wasteland under windows, again, a plus - because it was not necessary to take care of closing the curtains in the evening.

As for the croaking of frogs, close the balcony door and turn on the air conditioner. Someone said that he could not sleep because of this? Don't be ridiculous, these are frogs, not donkeys screaming. There was a ditch right behind the fence, but there were NO mosquitoes, at least kill me. And they lived on the 2nd floor, by the way. They took a fumigator with them, but did not even pull it out of the suitcase.

ROOM. The rooms are excellent and fully correspond to those depicted on the sites. New furniture, clean plumbing (although we had a slightly dripping curtain, but we just threw a towel on the floor and tried not to make a flood), a TV with 3 Russian and 1 Ukrainian channel (channel 5). By the way, do not look for information about the hotel in the room - they do not put printouts, all information in Russian is either on channel 3 or on TV channel 4 - turn it on and read it from the screen. Printout - where and when to eat - if you want to see constantly before your eyes, take at the reception (in English).
Safe is paid (1 day = 1 Euro). We took it just in case - we had an expensive and someone else's camera with us. The air conditioning is centralized and works great - we even froze sometimes. Shampoo gels are not put in the bathroom (there will be only liquid soap and a shower cap), so take it with you. There are 2 bottles of mineral water in the refrigerator - they put it once upon arrival, then take care of it yourself (we just took a bottle of water from the restaurant - they put 1.5 liters on the table for every lunch and dinner). The room is solved in a combination of beige-pastel and blue tones, it gives the impression of a cozy and calm. In general, this combination is typical for the entire hotel (obviously, justifying its "marine" name). Who cares, but I like it. All rooms are of the same type (we did not look into the suites ) and do not differ from each other in absolutely anything.

CLEANING. We were not particularly lucky with the cleaning - a couple of times I even grumbled.

Although they left a tip every time they wanted us to be cleaned (they let us into the room every other day somewhere), they didn’t turn any swans from towels and didn’t even change the bed even once - although it was announced that they change after 3 days. Someone would go to make a fuss, we just stopped leaving a tip. Well, not super luxury, of course, last year our maid was just charm itself, we even knew her by sight and greeted her. How you get there is the human factor.

HOTEL, INFRASTRUCTURE. The hotel is 2 years old, in my opinion, that says it all. The feeling that everything around is new is very pleasant. I liked the design of the hotel - the floors going up, glass, marble, palm trees inside, a lot of light. Everything is airy and light. Lots of bars and bars both outside and inside the building.
Each bartender “loves” his specific cocktails, so whoever wants to can go on a round trip around the hotel for a tasting  In one wing of the building there are shops (souvenirs, sweets, jewelry, leather goods, bags - by specialization). Of course, more expensive than usual - but it's like that everywhere. If you don't want it, don't buy it. The territory of the hotel is large, the pools are large and take up a lot of space. The downside is that they have some problems with palm trees - they don’t take root, or what? That is, the territory itself is well-groomed - there is all kinds of grass, bushes, flowers, paths are figuratively lined with stones. But the palm trees are planted, but for some reason almost dry, i. e. , alas, there are no shadows  Finding it is not a problem under numerous canopies and awnings, but you want both honey and a spoon  Who cares about the jungle on the territory - go in Kemer, everything is all right there.

Places near the pools began to take, in my opinion, even before 7 am.

Anyway, the towels were laid out on the sunbeds. It is clear that at 10 in the morning, when we passed by the pools, we saw only empty (80%) sunbeds with towels nevertheless thrown on them. They don’t lie themselves, but they don’t give others either. Why do this, I don't know. We still went to the sea, so we were not upset. Hills are numerous. 4 for adults, 3 for children 7-11 years old, 3 for smaller children and small ones in paddling pools for babies (a slide waist-deep for mom). Slides are open from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm. We spent 2 hours on them every day with great pleasure. There really is nowhere to go near the hotel - it stands on the outskirts of everything else. If anything - you need to go by taxi or minibus to the nearest settlement (it's 5-6 kilometers or to Manovgat - drive for 15 minutes by car, 18 km). Near the hotel, on the right along the highway, there is a travel agency (where all trips are 1.5 times cheaper) and a couple of shops with souvenirs, textiles and sweets.
The choice is not very rich, we limited ourselves to a blouse for me and a few boxes of sweets, whoever wants something better should go to the town.

SEA BEACH. The hotel has a Blue Flag for the cleanliness of the coast. The water is very clean, transparent several meters deep. At 8 in the morning, until it is stirred up by vacationers - in general, a fairy tale. The entrance to the sea is uneven - sand and small pebbles. Those with children should go to the left side of the beach, there is sand at the entrance to the water. On the right side of the beach there really are stones at the bottom, no need to run in with acceleration. Do not grumble - just go to the left side and enter the sea even with your eyes closed. There are a LOT of sunbeds on the beach. At the peak of the hotel's workload, the beach was not even half busy - so there was enough space for everyone. As for the cleanliness of the sand - there was garbage, but kind people, do you really think that someone throws these cigarette butts and disposable cups at night?
Ceramic urns are specially placed - every meter and a half (I'm not joking). How you can shit (sorry) past in such conditions - I don’t know. Unless on purpose, then to yell that the staff does not try and does not clean.

The main minus for me also concerned the beach - it is located across the road from the hotel (although the beach is private and strangers do not go there). Although I was well aware of this even before my departure, this information is in any catalog and the tour manager warns. To the beach - an underground passage, 20 meters. It was not this moment that strained, but the fact that this road is a busy highway, a six-lane that runs along the coast. That is, when you lie on the beach, the cars drive very close, about 10 meters from the entrance. On the other hand, many hotels in Side suffer from this, I could not even understand the system - sometimes 4 stars on the first line, sometimes luxurious outwardly 5 stars - on the second one like ours.
The fact that food is raked immediately and then you will remain hungry is a lie. Food is constantly replenished. The fact that there is no meat, one chicken is a lie. Meat types 4 at least every meal - and this is not taking into account cooking options. Do you have enough? The fact that food is taken away an hour before closing is a complete lie. Exactly on the hour they begin to collect trays - not a minute earlier. The beer is not diluted, it's just a standard Efes - light light beer. Alcohol is local and there is always enough of it. The fact that it is not enough is a lie. There were always enough tables - clean - for us. Came for lunch and dinner somewhere in an hour and a half after the start. Only twice in 10 days I had to politely ask the waiter to clear the table for us - they cleaned it instantly and served it.

In the middle of the day, ice cream was given near the pool, but a queue formed in which we decided not to stand - what's the point?
Near the pools and on the beach, there are additional snack bars with the usual french fries, spaghetti, vegetables, flatbreads, hamburgers, fruits and drinks - for those who do not want to leave for lunch from the beach. We are notably divided, alas Although every time you try to control yourself, but still such a variety is depressing 

The only negative that remained from restaurants was our compatriots, who behaved like pigs - heaped (sorry) plates of food, so that it fell under their feet (cleaners with brooms were constantly fussing), then they left all this food, after biting - just because “everything is paid for”, also a crowd of ours 30 (!!! ) minutes before lunch and dinner in front of the entrance to the restaurant, looking through the windows or climbing over the fence to take a seat. What for???

A couple of days later, the Turks covered the entrance to the terrace of the restaurant with paper barrier tape - so that the "hungry" would not interfere with setting the tables. The tape was torn off. A day later, the entrances had to be blocked with ROPES in three additions ....Disgrace.

The Republic of SHKID has come in large numbers ...Or what kind of stake to hang on the head of a “nice” young woman who, having created a queue for cherries of 5 people, stood and phlegmatically sorted out the cherries loaded right there on her plate, dropping the berries she didn’t like (spoiled or small) into that same, TOTAL capacity?? ? What is it like? Eat, pigs, what didn't I like? Sorry, gentlemen, I got carried away with negativity. Absolutely opposite reviews are simply surprising, given that we rested in the same hotel on the same days, with a coincidence of up to a day. Well, it was NOT there, for the life of me! And you don’t have to run into the local vacationing population - they just don’t yell over their ears, they don’t send staff obscenely and don’t pig. And the restaurant...
- The food is excellent.

ANIMATION. To be honest, we didn't participate. Lying on the beach or went to the hammam. Judging by the schedule on inform. boards - life was full of all sorts of games, aerobics, competitions and dances. Judging by the gambling cries at the pool, the people really liked it.

CONTINGENT. A lot of Russians (they drew conclusions from the lists of people leaving the hotel), much less Ukrainians. Quite a lot of Germans and Turks (for the first time, by the way, we ended up in a hotel where so many locals rested). The difference in attitude was not felt at all - goodwill and knowledge of English made it possible to communicate at a quite decent level.

SERVICE. There were no problems either - neither with the waiters, nor with the bartenders, nor with the Turkish managers. The question arose only to the Russian Anna with guest relations, who "forgot" to enter us into a la carte, despite the reminder. But I got sick and we would not have got to the restaurant anyway.

Everything is fine, everything is in order, they don’t pull on the hand, but if something happens, they don’t turn away. Calmness and politeness are much more effective than the cry “hey, chuchmek, come here, pour vodka”, which we have seen more than once 

So, take it easy. If the lack of trees on the territory and the beach across the road does not interfere, otherwise you will be just happy. Write to grinvich_shadow@mail. ru, if anything. Oksana.
