In Otium we were with my husband and a child of 4.5 years. Arrived today
I chose this hotel based on reviews and I was not disappointed. The rest turned out to be excellent, despite the weather: it is very fresh in the evenings, about 20-25 in the afternoon, but the sea is already warm.
To begin with, I was looking for a hotel focused specifically on children. Otium in this regard is 100% suitable. Almost all families with children. I was very surprised that there were many children under one year old. I saw completely newborns: 2-3 months. It is clear that with such a service and amenities, you can relax: a large children's club-playground (I'll start with it): a trampoline, a small labyrinth, a shallow children's pool with a slide and sun loungers for parents and for the little ones, climbing slides, etc. Children's room, restaurant and even a house with cribs for children under one year old. (by the way, you can rent a stroller) Kindergarten, where you can leave the child to the animators-educators. We did not leave our son, but in recent days he broke out and for several hours we left him on the territory of the children's club, controlling every 10-15 minutes (which is surprising for me, as for a very worried mother)

Everything is safe for children. Coating, mats.
A small minus is that there is also a small area with amusement rides (paid): a 10-minute ride on an electric car costs 2-3 times more than in Kyiv: $ 7. I assume that the merry-go-rounds with a small train are the same. They ride a little, because it is expensive even for foreigners)
I was very pleased with the performance of the clown (hourly): everyone laughed.
Ice cream from 15.00 to 16.00 for free for everyone, both children and parents
Nutrition
No complaints
Just a lot, abundance, delicious. Excellent baking. Fruits . I only ate watermelons, because I love them. In April, they wrote about strawberries, there were none) But melons, watermelons, medlar, bananas, etc. , a lot. They feed almost constantly: breakfast, lunch, dinner, at the pool bar pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, pastries, again
Thursday was apparently a fish day: very tasty, diverse fish
They wrote about juices more than once here: they are from packages
To be honest, I didn’t like the wine: fortified, but people took it all the time (and foreigners too)) Beer is good) Nuts are given in a bar on the street
Wonderful cocktails: we drank non-alcoholic mostly, but I tried alcoholic ones too
Serving at the bar at the reception, by the way, is better for those who are interested)
During dinner almost every day there was an ice cream cart. In the last I haven’t seen her for a day) And there’s no place for ice cream there)
Tea bags and brewed. Coffee, latte, hot chocolate from vending machines: paper cups, no plastic)
Children's restaurant in the main restaurant and in the kids club. Microwaves, highchairs everywhere.
The pools are great: water slides. There is a relax pool where you can sit in peace: you can’t go there with children) Once we swam in the indoor pool. Convenient hot shower
You really can't fault the pools.
Hamam, sauna are free. Were in the last veche in the hammam - liked it)
The beach is excellent, clean, the food is delicious, cleaned immediately and quickly

By the way toilets are everywhere and they are kept clean. In the kids club, children's small toilets
The water was warm, we swam. For children, toys, spatulas, apiaries, the son played, everything can be taken on the beach for free. We also took a bathing vest for our son. There are also 3-4-5 of them for free. Rescuers are always on the alert for mine and the pool
Many consider it a minus that you have to walk to the beach. By the time it's about 10 minutes. It's probably bad in the heat, but in May we always walked along the lake on foot. We rode the minibus 2 times for the sake of interest. For us, this is not a minus in principle or a minor minus.
The room is good, cozy (standard), settled us in 45 minutes, an hour, we just ate. We lived in a "horseshoe" But the peacock can be heard there : ) didn't bother us)
Cleaned up every day. On the last day, they forgot and we hung a sign asking to be cleaned. True, not all the sand was swept away, but in general everything is clean...
Animators
They were praised and praised in the reviews, but I disagree
There are many of them, but it is not clear WHY there are so many of them. The beach has no entertainment. By the pool there is one dance for one song after dinner . . the people apparently want to dance, but they have one dance and ten animators dance it
Yes, I saw darts every day, and it’s like archery . . and so they roam the territory and that’s it . . I didn’t watch the evening show, maybe it’s interesting there
That is, no one actually entertains anyone during the day
Children's animation. Yes, I sympathize with the girls - it is not easy for them to work with children, but they manage
There is no special entertainment... that is, yes, they entertain in a trifle, but in fact the children are left to themselves and their parents for the most part
At 20.30 children's show for half an hour: dancing with animators: the repertoire is about the same, but it's interesting to watch)
The territory of Otium is VERY beautiful and well-groomed
And again, cleanliness

An excellent free gym with high-quality exercise equipment: my husband and I worked out)
Bicycle rental 1 euro 2 hours. There are bikes with child seats. We rode together))
In summary, I will say that the rest is 100% suitable for families with children. Thanks to the reviews, we chose the right hotel. Even my husband didn’t want to leave, who usually has enough 7 days on vacation) The child liked it too)
If you have children and even very small ones, you can safely go on a journey) It will be easy and simple with them)
