The hotel is a little old, the number of rooms is slightly dilapidated, at the first acquaintance with the room there was a smell, if not of antiquity, then of dilapidation for sure, but having settled in the room, they did not feel the smell. Upon arrival at the reception there was no Russian-speaking staff, we were shown 2 rooms overlooking the road and the station, which made a lot of noise. After some slight bickering in weak English, we got a perfectly normal room with a view of the children's pool.
Upon further study of the hotel, we realized that there was no sea view, only neighboring hotels. Yes, and from the hotels that are located on the very seashore, it seems to me that the sea is also not visible. Breakfast and dinner are normal, lunch is poor, there are few fruits, Ephesus beer, local dry white, red and rose wine. Freshly squeezed juice appeared by the end of our stay, 1.5 euros a glass. Martini glass at the bar 7 euros. But we came not to eat, but to lie by the sea, so that suited us perfectly. At first there were a lot of Germans in the hotel and little Russian speech, by the end of our arrival the situation had changed dramatically. All the same, it was more comfortable when there were few compatriots.
The safe was used for only 2 days, then it was considered unnecessary and all valuable items and money were left in a bag with a combination lock, the simplest. Nothing is missing. Everything in the room worked.

We had a good rest, considering that we are not fans of discos on vacation. No entertainment, animation in German and Turkish (1 day was in Russian.
Around are stalls with, as they call, imitation of famous brands, cafes (hookah $ 5), pharmacies, 1 bowling with 3 lanes (1 game per person 3 euros). It is better to take euros to this resort, since around the Europeans and local Turks they very incorrectly convert euros into dollars and it turns out more expensive. If we take into account that 1 euro is about 1.25 dollars, then they get about 1.5-1.7 dollars. This is explained by a complex transfer from lira to euros and dollars.
A ride in dolmushes (local minibuses) costs 1 euro, but drivers also accept 1 dollar without conversion. In this case, $ is more profitable. It takes about 7 minutes to get to Side at a normal speed, but they travel at a speed of 5-6 km per hour, go around all the hotels, collect tourists and the journey takes about 20 minutes! at an air temperature of 35-37. But at the final stop of Side, there is only a parking lot for buses and taxis. Where to go next? And here everything is clever. Go a little ahead and get into a train with a tractor for 0.5 euros and drive for another 3 minutes. That is, local drivers earn 2 times for you. You can go on foot and stare at the ruins. In Side itself there are cafes on the seashore with a beautiful view and civilian shops with souvenirs, clothes and bags. You can also take a dolmush to the town of Manavgat. On Thursdays, they arrange for tourists a flea market-bazaar of the notorious imitation, the prices are not low, everything is under awnings and on staggering tables. There is nothing to do in the city itself, unless you suddenly need a bank. There are also shops, but they are not concentrated in one place. There is a Migros supermarket, the parent of Ramstore, the prices are normal.
In general, the rest turned out to be the way we intended it - lazily lying down, everything suited us.

P. S. We did not specifically note how long it would take to walk to the beach, but it felt like 7-10 minutes, depending on the intensity of the step. You can run for 5. Someone thought that the distance was about 700 meters. It didn't bother us. Although the road to the beach is not the most beautiful (photo). The beach is sandy, not very large, by the way it is in the photo. In the morning they clean it, but there are still cigarette butts left, as some people do not notice the litter bins. Near the entrance to the sea sand, then small pebbles (not very nice). Although you can find a fairly comfortable entrance to the water, a little to the left, on the territory of the beach of another hotel, we had no complaints about this. Their 11 days that we were there, only 3 days the sea was calm. And the rest of the days are quite strong waves. Moreover, depending on the ebb and flow of the tide, the shore is either clean sand or brings a lot of small stones. There were no jellyfish.
There is no toilet on the beach, only one shower with rather cold water. Sunbeds and mattresses on a 5-point system for 3+, as they are not new, but not rubbish either. No matter what time we arrived, the seats were always there. The bar on the beach is a small tonar (pictured), where water, beer, juices, tea and coffee are served until 18 pm. During the main meal, flatbreads, hamburgers, salads and watermelons are baked on site. It is quite possible not to go to the hotel, but to eat there. But there is always no food, only drinks. On the beach, both disposable tableware and reusable plastic ones, so they must be returned to the bartender. The territory is not large, but not small, quite cozy, palm trees and pine trees, and under them sun loungers, very suitable for an afternoon rest. There is no slide, there is a children's pool, very shallow, a couple of swings. In principle, there is little entertainment for children, in the evening there is a children's disco and that's it. There is no animation in Russian. So the children will have to deal with themselves.
