Rested with a friend in early August 2008 in Emirkhan. I will write my opinion on the hotel point by point.
--
Settlement:

We arrived at the hotel around 9 pm (on the way of the transfer bus, this was the first hotel we visited). Ten minutes later, a friendly swarthy guy with a key was already cheerfully dragging our bags in the direction of the room. To our surprise, he led us to the building, which is located about five meters from Emirkhan. Rising in an elevator with a scratched-out inscription of three Russian letters at the top to the 4th floor (3rd according to the local system), the guy took us through labyrinth-like corridors and rooms at the very end. The room is quite decent, but there was only a roof at the top and even the bedspreads on the beds were hot. Going out onto the balcony, I found out in this building nothing else than the Emirgarden building. This circumstance greatly embarrassed us, and we asked the guy who brought us to phone his people and find us a number in Emirkhan. It was not possible to agree on anything over the phone, so we headed back to the reception. That evening there was a Russian-speaking Akhmed: a man of pleasant appearance and quite patient. He stubbornly told us that there were no more places. After bugging Akhmed, we finally managed to be taken to Emirkhan's room. But the room they showed us was in the green under the bar. Its windows overlooked the fence, and sewer pipes passed nearby. The only notable plus is the split air conditioner. Maybe someone would have sacrificed everything for the sake of one Conder, but we were not one of them. Returning to the reception, we agreed with Ahmed that they would move us to a normal room the next morning. I don’t know if Akhmed had an influence or not, but by lunchtime the next day we were already in Emirkhan’s room. So, in principle, these throwing may have been in vain. But we didn't pay. And they shouldn't have.
Rooms:
In terms of the size of the standard twos, the numbers of Emirkhan and Emirbich are the same, but there is a difference in the details. In the Emirgarden room we didn’t have a safe, there was an old hair dryer, there was yellow plumbing, a bathroom with a curtain and a mirror opposite the bathtub to admire yourself when you get out of the shower))) Also, the Emirgarden entrance doors are equipped with ordinary lockable handles. In Emirkhan, there was already a safe, there was more impressive furniture, there was a new hair dryer, a shower stall and snow-white plumbing. In Emirkhan, the entrance doors are more impressive and are opened with punched cards. Balconies are better and bigger in Emirkhan. Emirkhanovsky air conditioner subjectively cooled much better. In both hotels, we came across fairly good furniture. On the whole, the rooms are very neat and good. We got tiles on the floor.
Nutrition:

They fed wonderfully. Big variety. Everything is very high quality and tasty. There is a lot of meat: from sausages and salads with sausages to grill. It seems a bit monotonous, but something is constantly changing. There was often a grill outside. Of course, there are queues for food that is prepared right there. Sweet sea: almost a row in the dining room is allotted for it. But there was no place for sweets with such an abundance of food) I did not like the fish in the dining room: it is bitter. And oh, how delicious our grilled sweet fish would be. Lots of sauces, jams, honey straight from the honeycomb. Pleased with the presence of scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes with vermicelli) French fries are constantly available. A large number of delicious cold watermelons and melons are constantly available. Of the fruits, we found apples, pears, grapes, cherry plum, nectarine. Coffee from the machine. Tea bags. Of the liquids, there is the ubiquitous concentrated badyazhka like Jupi, which is still cold tolerable. Empirically, it has been found that it is often cold in the pool bar. There is freshly squeezed orange juice, but you will have to pay 2 lira for it. The bar has an unlimited supply of bottled wine, which is not particularly impressive. There is a standard set: cola, fanta, sprite and mineral water. Ice and lemon are also available. But in the heat, a lot of fluid leaves the body, so watermelon was recognized as the best remedy. For an afternoon snack at the pool bar, they made donuts very similar to our verguns. They were accompanied by awesome gravy. In general, very tasty. Often the process of cooking on the street was controlled by the chef himself.
Buildings and territory:
Emirkhan's buildings are very neat and clean. Everywhere there is a sweetish pleasant smell, which I personally really liked. The floors are marble. At the reception there is a computer with Internet access, which can be used by everyone free of charge. Wi-Fi available in the lobby. The lobbies themselves, in addition to the hall, I counted two more. In one (where there are TVs) the air conditioner works very well. The toilets are well maintained until they are clogged up by the Russians after the disco. In the toilet I met a hand dryer with the name "Bobrik" native to the Russian soul. The territory is green. There are plenty of places to sit quietly. There is a playground, volleyball field and tennis court. Of course there are pools. The group of central pools is always crowded with people. The pool below Emirgarden is less crowded and partially shaded. The pool near the left building of Emirkhan is also less loaded, and the water in it is colder. Slides without frills: a straight line is not bad, but a screw one is very slow. But the kids will definitely like it, because during the opening hours of the slides there was a whole queue for them. The spa has an indoor pool but the water is cold. In the evening it is quite pleasant to wander around the illuminated green area.
Beach:

The walk to the beach is quite short and runs along a green path. The greenery on the sides of the path is often watered, so you can ask to refresh yourself on the way back to the sun. This path is often dangled on their cars by hotel staff, taking people to the beach or delivering food and drinks to the beach bar. There were enough mattresses for everyone. Find sunbeds in the first three rows after 9 am is already hard. The beach is mediocre, but the presence of awnings instead of umbrellas still somehow saves the big picture. The beach has toilets, showers and changing cabins. By the way, practice has shown that beer is badyazhat most of all on the beach. Maybe it's for the best. Although there is a volleyball court, it is more "for show": the location is bad, the net sags. The entry into the sea is terrible. Concrete (precisely concrete exfoliating, gray) slabs will cut your leg if you carelessly enter with their sharp edges. The situation is aggravated by the waves that carry you away. The picture is complemented by stones, which can have a top 40 centimeters below the water. I don’t see the buzz in the vaunted floating pantone: I didn’t risk jumping from it (because I ran into a stone while swimming around this same pantone), and sunbathing 7-8 minutes from the bar is not a joy in such heat. On the very first day, having injured my leg, I decided that I would not go beyond the level of the knees on it. Therefore, they began to go to Sunrise Beach. Although you still have to go to it, but the beach is very good. The beach really leaves positive emotions from the sea. I counted there only 2 medium stones and 1 large stone, which are easy to distinguish on the sandy bottom. It goes without saying that you should only swim at Sunrise. To the right of our beach there is a pier with good views. You can also jump into the water from its end. And you can also take bread from the dining room and feed the fish from this pier. Turtles were not caught, which is a pity. We didn't eat at the bar on the beach. By the way, if you're coming, get ready for the fact that on the beach Ali will be hammered with his water sports, the guy from the Emirkhan spa center and the guy offering the skin. Sometimes very annoying.
Service:
There is always someone at the reception who speaks Russian. The bartenders speak Russian quite well. The waiters seem to understand. But we came across a cleaning lady who did not understand either Russian or English. But she was always friendly, cleaned the room and changed towels every day. Finally, the hotel more go Turkish and German. Of all the categories of staff, I liked the cheerful and smiling cleaners, cool bartenders and very tactful security. The bartenders are funny guys. The guards try to less restrict the actions of vacationers and intervene only in extreme cases: during a scuffle with Georgians, the head of security politely asked not to touch on politics, and during a scuffle with the Turks, he apologized and said that the fault was on the side of the Turks. I didn't like the waiters the most. Although there were no incidents, it is still noticeable that they serve foreigners much more quickly.
Entertainment and sports:

The animation is really weak. For the most part, the animators are quite boring. Although there are two colorful figures there: the head of entertainment, Mike, and a blonde girl (I forgot her name). The first anneals well, and the second dances very well. There is also a dark Platini, but it is more about communicating with people. The main function of animators during the day is to take out sports equipment and sometimes take part in games. Volleyball on the beach starts at 11 am. That is, it turns out to play in the sun itself. Football, volleyball, tennis on the territory start around 4 pm. There are always players in volleyball. In theory, there should be animation in the pool on the territory, but at that time we were constantly at the sea. Evening animation is so-so: we found two quite funny competitions and one rock opera. I personally liked the last one. Once there was a Turkish evening. The rest is not particularly impressive, and the humorous (if you can call it that) program is frankly boring. Animation is provided in English, German, Russian and Turkish. Disco is monotonous, but there are some vigorous tracks. At first, somehow not rushing, but then wedged in and do not bother. Moreover, there is a bar nearby. I myself came and started looking for some tracks from the disco.
Contingent:
Somewhere around 65% of vacationers are Russians. Another 30 percent are Germans. There are many French, there are Dutch and Turks. Ours are the most normal: all sports games are mostly with ours, at discos, too, mostly with ours. The Dutch are very sociable. Well, the Germans are closed and reluctant to make contact. They rarely go to sea. Mostly flounder in the pools or sit at the pool bar. At discos they sit at tables. In general, tedium is complete. Therefore, in order not to die from tediousness, you should get to know ours from the very first days.
Location and surrounding area:
If you leave the hotel and walk towards the highway, then the zone of active street trading begins. As for me, this is the same as our markets. Moreover, the markets are not the best. All goods are the same, there is no raisin. A bunch of stitches. And the farther from the hotel, the more Germans. You can go along the sea in Side. Go slowly for 30 minutes. Very interesting and nice place. Souvenirs and cafes are much better than in the markets near the hotel. The embankment of Side is very picturesque. You can also take a picture of the ruins. In general, when choosing what you need to take home, do not forget about the dutik at the airport, because the prices for the same products there can be much lower than in the shops.
Total:

The hotel lives like a big organism. Vacationers live like one big family. Of course, the situation is worse with foreigners, but after visiting the bar, they become friendly. In just a week, I became very attached to the hotel. It seems that the rest was not particularly eventful, but there was absolutely no desire to leave home. In addition, this hotel has a large number of strengths. Moreover, this is Turkey. And it is not worth demanding something super-wonderful from Turkish hotels. I really liked it. I sort of merged with this hotel. And now I still miss something at home. No wonder Emirkhan is called the best of the four. And the fact that the Turks have a rest in this hotel already shows that the Turks themselves respect this hotel. In general, he keeps the brand. And, as practice has shown, in various establishments outside the hotel, people who have Emirkhan's acid-colored tag on their hands are respectful. If you get a chance, go without hesitation. All the shortcomings only in the reviews are so frightening. In my own opinion, everything can be different. Like me. In general, we love you, Emirkhan : )
