I want to thank Coral Travel for the early booking campaign, thanks to which we were able to have a good rest in the excellent Emirkhan Hotel, which is in the village of Kumkey, 1.5 km from Side. Rested May 5-17.2009.
We went to Turkey not for the first time. We rested in hotels 2.3, 4.5 * sometimes 2 times a year. We were pleasantly surprised by the rest this time. When we were leaving Kirov, it was drizzling (for Russians, this is a good omen). Upon arrival in Antalya, it was raining. While driving to the hotel, the clouds parted and the sun reminded us that we had come to rest, and not whine about bad weather. Upon arrival, we were met by Alena, who is responsible for the Russian-speaking contingent of vacationers. Welcoming and friendly - while we were having lunch in a restaurant - she filled out questionnaires and keys to the rooms, which we settled in in 10 minutes. After checking in, Alena took us through the hotel, told us what, where it is, and how it works, thanks to which we used the hotel services at 100% in the evening. The receptionists on duty perfectly understand the number of the room from which you ask for the key, if you clearly pronounce it.
About the room: we lived in standard 18 sq. m rooms with carpet, on the 5th floor overlooking the pools and water slides, the sea on the horizon, a beautiful sunset.
About the territory: beautiful, well-groomed, compact. Much respect to gardeners.
About the pools: clean, of various shapes and depths (counted 6 with paddling pools, plus an indoor, warm one next to the hammam and the gym). In the pools, fountains and geysers for hydromassage. There are 2 water slides.
About entertainment on site: bocha (balls on the beach), darts, fitness and hydro aerobics, water polo (during our stay we played a friendly match between Russia and Germany), volleyball, basketball, mini-football, tennis.
About the beach: 300 meters from the hotel - clean, on a sandy hill and with awnings (I recommend sunbathing under them without any "mazilok" - the tan will be even and will not peel off). Many complain about the stones in the sea, but the hotel has nothing to do with it. It is better to enter by stepping with your foot from above - “like an elephant”. Most importantly, the water is clean and warm. Bar on the beach from 10 to 18 hours with the same "range" as in the hotel. In addition - there is lunch and afternoon tea among roses and sea views.
Subsistence: only real, rich aristocrats and complete degenerates can be dissatisfied with him.
Drinks: water, juices - the qualities of our “beloved”, “kind”, etc. , tea brewed or in bags for every taste, coffee, milk, Efes beer, raki, good red and white wine from bottles uncorked in front of you, decent vodka quality, gin, brandy, whiskey. It makes no sense to push at the bar for a drink, the waiters come up and ask what to bring from drinks, just order.
Desserts: cakes and pastries for every taste and color (biscuits, creams, eclairs, etc. ). Apples, pears, oranges, medlar, grapefruits. There were no slices of watermelons and melons yet.
Baking: a great variety of sundries, national pizza all day.
Meat: daily beef patties, chicken, turkey, beef and chicken barbecue in the evening on the grill piping hot. There are a lot of side dishes..... Daily river trout and tuna.
Salads: again, for every taste, you want vegetables, you want with shrimp, squid.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Chef of the hotel, his assistants, bartenders and waiters - They are great workers.
Animation: quite simple and without pretensions to the Bolshoi Theater or the Cirque du Soleil. People try and know how to have fun. The disco at the Green Bar is fun. And to whom it seems boring, then in the village there are at least 4 where you will be welcome. Side has a great disco.
