We rested in Turkey from August 1 to August 19.2018. We chose the Side Elis Beach 3* hotel for the rest on the site of the Biblio-Globus tour operator.
It was my eighth vacation in Turkey, I always stayed in small 3* hotels. The format of rest in these hotels is understandable, and I was satisfied with the rest. This time the choice was unsuccessful.
Vacation concept. The hotel is very small. Almost all rooms overlook the pool. When we arrived, very loud music was playing at the pool bar from morning until late in the evening. Sitting in a bar, you can not hear not only the interlocutor, but also yourself. Moreover, the volume of music did not decrease even after 23.00. When asked to turn down the volume, the staff almost did not respond. At the end of the second day of stay at the hotel after 23.00, an unpleasant conversation took place with the hotel manager. The music was turned off after the scandal. The next day everything continued as before. It was not possible to resolve the issue with the participation of the hotel guide. Manager Rosa explained the noise as follows: “The hotel has such a concept. People are resting. " As a result, a collective complaint was filed signed by six people to the receiving party "Fit holidays". Only after that the conflict situation was resolved. Music began to be turned off in the afternoon and after 23.00. Agree, not the most pleasant start to the holiday.

Nutrition. The hotel is extremely poor and monotonous food. In the first four days there was never a chicken or a fish. For hot, as the main course, only soy meat was served in the form of cutlets, sausages, goulash, etc. Everything is very sharp. Later (maybe this is the result of a collective complaint, although we did not complain about food in writing) for lunch and dinner they began to give kura every day, rarely fish. But it's also extremely sharp. It should be especially noted that the “hot” was almost always cold. Only a few times I managed to drink freshly brewed tea. In the morning, the water in the titanium was still a little warm, and in the afternoon, instead of brewing fresh tea at the bar, the waiters most often simply added boiling water to the old tea leaves.
But if spicy food is bad, spoiled food is bad for health. Repeatedly in the morning there was milk in open packages, bitter in taste, feta cheese - sour. As a result, you first had to smell the food, then bite off a small piece to make sure the product was of good quality. The cups (if they were available at the restaurant or bar) were usually dirty, with a persistent coating of tea on the inside or traces of lipstick around the edges.
In general, the regime at the hotel is focused on the rest of Turkish tourists, although there were approximately equal numbers of tourists from Russia and Turkey. Breakfast was not ready by 7:30. We were able to eat scrambled eggs only on the tenth day of our stay at the hotel. the cook only fried it only when Turkish vacationers began to come to the restaurant, and tourists from Russia went to the sea. The cleaning of the hotel territory was also carried out quite peculiarly. When they left at about 8 o'clock in the morning for the sea, the tiled floor everywhere began to be watered with a hose, which created a traumatic situation.
Hotel staff. Surprised by the extremely unprofessional hotel staff. Chefs go to the restaurant in jeans and T-shirts. Chefs in uniform were never seen. It's strange, but in the morning the waiters themselves still only had breakfast right in the restaurant, and the cook, who should fry the eggs, took his own food, poured tea and went to the kitchen for breakfast.
Only one waiter, Issa, spoke Russian well. Thank you very much for sympathizing with us, translating our requests to the manager, maids and other hotel employees.
I re-read my review, and once again I was convinced that living in Side Elis Beach 3 * was more like survival. And the fact that the hotel does not have its own beach, a shuttle to a free beach, that you had to pay three dollars a day for a sunbed, seems like a minor nuisance.

And still I never cease to wonder how such a reputable tour operator as Biblio-Globus could conclude an agreement with this low-grade hotel, which the language does not even dare to call a hotel?
Dear compatriots! Look for another place to relax. Don't waste your money, time and nerves! In fact, Turkey is a wonderful country for recreation, and they know how to receive guests there, and the Side Elis Beach 3 * hotel is just a wild misunderstanding.
