Hello! I continue the useful tradition of reporting on the hotels in which we lived and were.
We returned the other day - I share information.

For the correctness of the review, it is necessary to make a reservation -
rested at the beginning of the season (May 2009), when the hotel was not fully loaded.
(it is clear that in the high season everything may not be so rosy, but that's why we go in May)))))

Very nice friendly hotel.
Wonderful landscaped area. Cleanliness and order everywhere.
The main building of the hotel (launched in the 2007/2008 season) is impressive, made in the Egyptian style from the main hall to the decor of the rooms: beautiful, expensive, high quality.
Photos on the hotel website do not exaggerate the reality.
Bungalows - standard, simpler, but clean and comfortable (maybe there are exceptions, but we had everything right). The bungalows are located in the orange garden (and what kind of oranges are there! ) or in the charming "green" alleys.

IMHO with children it is more convenient in a bungalow (but remember, the floor is stone), but if you are a romantic, then the hotel is definitely)))).

Location. From the airport.. ? I have no idea how much - we are never bothered by remoteness - we are happy to sleep on the bus after the flight. But the proximity to the ancient center of Side is very convenient and attractive (for us, one of the criteria for choosing a hotel is to have somewhere to go for a walk).
20-30 min. a “walking” step along the beach and you are in AnticSide, well, where the excursions take you: the temple of Apollo, the amphitheater, etc. , shopping streets, cafe-restaurants. Another option is to get there by land - 3 min. by bus + 2 min. on a "train" (a stylized tractor with a trolley) - the children are happy! )))

The beach is fine sand, a smooth entrance to the sea ...For kids - that's it!
How many walked along the sea (and on such a sand it's a pleasure) our hotel had the widest and most well-groomed beach ....although it was some kind of walkway, but all the beaches there are like that. Personally, it didn't bother me.
The food is beyond praise! Delicious, beautiful and varied. Strawberries, melons, watermelons, oranges - every day and without restrictions. Shrimps in three versions, including royal boiled in shell (several times a week) - a pleasant surprise. Children always have something to feed.
The main restaurant consists of several halls, decorated in different styles - each time as in a new restaurant))) Comfortable and original! I will not repeat myself about the presence of several bars and restaurants scattered around the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn’t find (or rather didn’t stumble upon, because we didn’t look for) Coffee Lounge and a corner with a hookah. Nice variety of a la carte restaurants.
I would like to note the quality service and friendly attitude of the staff.

alcohol. Surprisingly, decent white wine was bottled at dinner. Everything else is local swill - the usual, I don’t even want to repeat myself. The lobby bar has an imp. alcohol.

Viskar is like a river, Martini was not interested, but I would be surprised if he was not there. Imp. drinks for money. The worst thing is that this bar is only open until 24.00. and then pipets! ))) BUT: we made a profit on Bacardi Black to the shop opposite))) and one more thing: right opposite the hotel there is a souvenir shop, 2 Russian hostesses - I don’t remember Sveta, so here they have luxurious pomegranate wine ($ 17) - we sat down.
So we didn’t dry out in the hotel))),

Luxurious SPA-salon decorated chic, sea massages. The price tag may not be cheap from $ 70, but all the programs that I personally paid attention to are offered in 1-1.5 hour performance. Moreover, bargaining, of course, is possible and necessary.
The chocolate massage cost me $45. Discounts of 50% on all procedures were regularly offered, that is, we are talking about $ 35-45, and everyone was heard at all. For a hammam (includes: peeling, foam massage, oil anti-stress massage, d / face mask) I paid $ 50, but through Pegas, in my opinion, it turned out even cheaper than directly.
It is clear that the tour operator offers a hammam with a departure for $ 20, but at the hotel it seemed to me more comfortable and individual or something ...the hammam has a "common" hall and separate rooms with the same hot stone - I liked it. All types of saunas (Finnish, infrared, and also so wet, what's the name? ))) for free. The guys are friendly and attentive. Let's say, steaming eucalyptus in a sauna for a cold child is not a question (it's clear for thanks).

Animation. Honestly? No-ka-ka-I ...((((Russian animation. dead. well, maybe they will swing more ...but there is no charismatic audience there, the team is not there either, so I don’t believe it! Of course, we didn’t suffer much - the sea, the sun, eat and drink, the company got lost both for adults and for children, but for objectivity I had to write.
And from this place I will start about the cons. The cons are, of course, relative, but it may be important for someone: the playground of our children was not intrigued, because.

it used to be better, and it didn’t differ much from the average yard. Mini disco - regularly. There is a children's club, in principle, the children aspired to go there, but it seemed to me that it was some kind of ..... formal or something ...without raisins. Everything, as usual, depends on people, but there were no interesting ones. Of course, there is a chance that everything will be fixed, because there is a recruitment of animators, but apparently we were not lucky. A musical based on Stilyagi was being prepared, the show promised to be colorful and interesting, but it was not presented to us - we only saw rehearsals. Maybe you will be lucky)))
One more thing, this hotel is not for "wheelchair" children - it is located on several levels. Lots of stairs. You can of course bypass them, but it's bliiiiiiiin! around the entire hotel ...- I would be too lazy. But really with the little ones there were a lot of tourists.
Long check-in when the hotel is 1/3 full. It's strange somehow. Although the rule of 12.00 was respected and how not to find fault.
The biggest minus for me personally, a neighing tourist, is the lack of chocolate with croissants for breakfast)))))

In general, the hotel was very pleasant and met all our expectations.
I will answer all questions.
Have a great tan and enjoy your holiday!
