How can you rate this hotel? Perfectly well! My family and I visited it in late July - early August 2007. Yes, it was our first trip abroad, but what a ...By the way, now he is 5 stars!! ! The hotel, or rather the complex of buildings, is located right by the sea. The view from the balcony of our room was simply magnificent: the sea, mountains and neighboring buildings.
And don't let its name scare you. Sheher is translated from Turkish as "Guiding Star".


The location is generally very good. A river flows along the territory of the hotel and flows into the sea at the beach of Sheher. There is a lot of greenery around the river. The area is very well maintained. The hotel is not new, because there are already many mature trees, shrubs, a sea of ​ ​ flowers. And the mouth of the river is lined with huge stones, on which fishermen catch fish both river and sea. And what picturesque pictures are obtained on these stones. Turtles live in the river, a flock of ducks lives. The bridge across the river is lit up.
In the evening, the bridge is one of the main attractions of the territory. Color-changing lighting, white stones, palm trees, a decorative well - all this calls you to take a walk and take a picture as a keepsake. And irrigation systems in the evening look like real fountains. On the last day of our stay there, we flew on a parachute and from a bird's eye view once again saw how advantageous our hotel looks due to the river. It is not for nothing that in our territory in the evening there are often vacationers from neighboring hotels.

The beach was a delight to us. The purest coarse sand. Enough sun loungers. By the way, bring towels from home! Several showers. What I really liked was the huge awnings, not the usual umbrellas that protect from the sun with tiny islands. And a wooden path leading to the sea, so as not to burn your feet on the hot sand during the day.
Active recreation is also offered on parachutes, scooters, bananas ...The sea is clean, warm, gentle and very beautiful. Endless little shells. And, of course, a large bar that turns into a fish restaurant in the evening. We were pleased with gozleme - these are national cakes, something like our pancakes and Armenian lavash, which were cooked right there in front of our eyes by a colorful Turkish woman. You can choose the toppings - cheese, chocolate...
In addition to the beach bar, there is another one next to the animation stage where evening shows take place. There is a photo booth where you can order a photo session, buy batteries and souvenirs with the hotel logo or your own photo. The third bar is located right next to the restaurant, they cook grilled chicken (delicacy) every day.

I rate the restaurant on a five-point scale at 10 - it exceeded all our expectations and dreams. VERY varied, tasty, plentiful, appetizing, beautiful, fragrant and satisfying!!!

And for meat eaters, and for vegetarians, and for children, and for people on a diet - a huge choice. We showed a video of an average dinner to many of our sophisticated and fastidious acquaintances who have repeatedly rested in various resorts in the world in five or more star hotels - they all groaned and gasped with white envy. There were not only soups familiar to us (there were only mashed soups) and cereals. But all this was easily compensated by the available dishes. Clean water was in all the bars and the restaurant - however, you need to collect it yourself. Yes, every day there were hours of ice cream and sweets!

Our room was very comfortable. White walls and solid furniture of unobtrusive brown color. The decor of the room "echoed" with the decor of the hall. The room has air conditioning for individual use, refrigerator, TV, telephone, safe. The bathroom really had a bathtub, a hair dryer, mountains of towels - for hands, for legs and large ones. Cleaned up daily.
There are no complaints about the staff at all. On the contrary, I was pleasantly surprised by the sincere benevolence and love for children. Our son was googled and tickled everywhere. And we ourselves felt only respect and hospitality for ourselves - for which BIG THANKS!!!

In the building of our building (I think, any) on each floor there are several rest rooms - for smokers, for non-smokers. You can read (there are also books there - although mostly in German), sit, chat, looking at the decor of the room and the views from the window.

Pools in the hotel for every taste and any depth from 35 cm for children and up to 2 meters for adults. I was very pleased that the children's pool is always in the shade - as we spent a lot of time there. It has a small hill-elephant - adored by splashing children. The children's pool is adjacent to the adult, where there are 2 water slides, which work, however, only 2 hours from 11.00 - 12.00 and from 14.00 - 15.00.

Animation worked on "5"!! ! During the day there are games and competitions. The schedule is displayed in the lobby and on the territory, everything is very clear. Of the 12 animators who worked at the time of our vacation, only one was Russian - but this did not stop us from having fun at all, because they explained everything very clearly with gestures, and we should not forget about the Russian tourists who participated in these games more than once They helped me understand all the rules. From the entertainment I remember Boccia, beach volleyball, belly dance training, games by the pool, step aerobics, darts ...And in the evening the animators prepared a daily holiday for us. At first, a children's disco was held - this is when the guys dance, repeating the movements of the animators, and the parents at this time, sipping wine, sit and are touched, and the especially brave ones join. Then invocative music sounds, a lot of smoke is blown on the stage and the evening show begins.
The disguised animators show us funny scenes with some movements to the music - so that the Russian, the German, and the Turks understand everything without words. Every evening different programs - Comedy Club, Turkish Night ...They repeat, in my opinion, only a week later. And then a disco - everyone dances! It's a pity that only TATU and Verka Serdyuchka sounded from the Russian-speaking performers!
For kids there is a town with swings, slides, climbing frames. And, of course, a children's club, where there are tennis and billiard tables, and where from 10.00 - 12.00 and from 15.00 - 17.00 your child will be entertained with drawing and games. However, this is all for children from 4 years old. Although our 2-year-old son was taken twice for an hour, we really wanted to fly on a parachute and take pictures.

Fireworks explode over the hotel every night. Neighboring hotels and Seher himself launch fireworks into the sky. This delightful spectacle lasts at least 10 minutes. More and more colors are flashing right overhead.
All this makes a very strong impression!

There is a retail outlet on the territory of the hotel, or rather a point where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, travel accessories, snacks, drinks, etc. and there is a beauty salon. What I liked is that they immediately call the final price, like in a store. You don't have to trade!!!

Who is resting in Seher? At the time of our vacation there were 70 percent - Germans, 10 - Russians, 10 - Turks, 10 - the rest. Although there were many emigrants from Russia among the Germans, so there was always someone to talk to.
And the Seher hotel has a "daughter" - Seher Sun Beach. There are also a lot of pools and other delights of relaxation - and all this can also be used. There is a gym and a Turkish bath - to be honest, we used the other one - paid, it's just that it was advertised to us a lot. Now I myself advise everyone to visit Sultan Humam!!!
