In February, we took care of the issue of summer holidays. Has already been looked after and successfully booked a hotel for June. We had to solve a more difficult problem, how to spend a vacation in August. It was necessary to find something more or less decent for a family of three, one of which is a teenager of 13 years old. I wanted: a hotel on the first coastline, with territory, infrastructure, not with soy food, so that the child would find entertainment according to his age and for little money. The sites of tour operators were unsuccessfully monitored. All that could be found within the allotted financial limit was a lonely building on a piece of concrete on the 2nd coastline somewhere in Belbedi. But here, lo and behold, an offer from Mostrevel. Hotels of the Santopia chain, when staying with 2 adults, a child under 15 years old, under the action food and accommodation for the child are free. We are booking soon. I didn’t want to go to Alanya again, there were no direct flights to Dalaman from St. Petersburg, Side was left. Well, we haven’t been here yet, we’re going to Pegasos World. We skimmed through the reviews, the shortcomings are not critical, the sea is clean. Obvious plus - 2-room suite. When booking, as many as 4 accommodation options were offered: family rooms with and without a balcony, Deluxe Block I and Deluxe Block A. All are about the same price. Quickly found schemes of the hotel and rooms. Eh, I was, I wasn’t, we are booking Deluxe Block I for 12 nights.
Well, on August 20, we fly out. We arrived at the airport in 3 hours, preparing for a long sitting waiting for the check-in to start. It was not there, the air carrier Transaero deprived us of this pleasure. Registration was in full swing, there were 5 counters, there was not even a queue for anyone to take. Somehow it’s not at all our way, neither for you to clarify “you weren’t standing here”, nor for modest attempts to push the suitcase through, squeezing your legs, and block the passage. Having safely received tickets for seats “by the window” and having checked in my luggage, I had to urgently seek solace in the duty free. They took off in a minute. The plane is large, 2-story. Blankets and earmuffs, carefully packed in cellophane, lay on each seat. The stewardesses are too mannered, in black gloves, smiling. Citizens, we are not flying by the Emirates, we are not used to it. Landing, passport control, quickly get luggage. Jeans, sneakers and sweatshirts down. Long live Turkey! 40 degrees above zero.
The transfer to the hotel on a small bus took about 1 hour, since everyone was taken to the same hotel. And here we are in front of the hotel. The statue of a horse with wings confirmed to us that we were in the Pegasus World.

The main building of the hotel is large, bright and beautifully furnished. At the reception, the staff is mostly English-speaking, but there is a Russian-speaking manager, Zeki, who is in a hurry to help everyone. When we checked in, we asked for a room not on the first or second floor. We quickly received room key cards (at first they gave two, later they asked for a third one), cards for towels, and go ahead, check in. As it turned out we were very lucky, our room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking the mountains, very quiet. Since our 5th building is built in the shape of the letter T, we lived in a corner room, as it were, in a “hat”, no one walked past along the corridor, complete privacy and silence.
The room itself is very spacious, bright, with 2 full-fledged rooms with doors. Each room has windows overlooking a single balcony, TV, spacious wardrobes, upholstered furniture, beds, bedside tables and tables, air conditioners, a minibar with bottled water replenished daily. Safe electronic code for a fee. The bathroom has a hairdryer, toilet, bathtub with sliding doors, sink, shower gel in tubes. On the balcony there is a set of plastic furniture, a dryer. Towels, linen, blankets are new and clean. There is carpet on the floor.
Later we looked at other buildings (1.2, 3) and came to the conclusion that ours is the best. To the sea to go 3 minutes, the same to the restaurant, away from the animation and evening music shows. The buildings in which the family rooms are located are located next to the active zone. The rooms are much less successful. The audibility is excellent, the balconies are small, and not everywhere, the atmosphere is more spartan. Inside, the building generally evoked associations with prison passages.
The territory of the hotel really liked, large, beautiful, quite green. We love to walk, so we liked a large number of paths with flashlights. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people in the hotel, so it is almost impossible to find truly quiet, secluded corners.

The number of people is just the main drawback of the hotel. It is designed for 3000 guests. Imagine that half of them are small children, and 50 percent are peanuts, and you will understand that with all the love for these “flowers of life”, there is a clear overkill here. Although, on the other hand, such a number confirms that the hotel is adapted just for families with kids. This is especially noticeable in the restaurant, where there are high chairs, and cute bright children's dishes with pictures, and a microwave for heating food. True, adults rarely manage to eat so that someone doesn’t cry next to them, it’s good if they are alone. We told ourselves that this was not the endless talk of beloved clients and work colleagues, and we tried not to pay attention to it.
Food in restaurants left mixed impressions. We are meat eaters. Of course, the slogan that chicken and turkey are also meat, for 13 days, did not serve as a very strong consolation. Fish was almost always for dinner. But only the trout, which was given every 3 days, was delicious. There was a lot of fast food and all sorts of stewed vegetables in various combinations. This is because the hotel is basically Scandinavian. Anyone who has had a bite at least once in Ikea will understand! Brr! I was pleased with the abundance of deep-fried zucchini, eggplant, cauliflower and the presence of very tasty rice. Also available were fruits (oranges, grapefruit, plums, grapes, apples) and watermelons for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The melon was only at the beginning of our holiday, but since it is absolutely tasteless, the fact that it suddenly disappeared did not cause us grief. In the evening, the restaurant had ice cream in waffle cups. Sometimes deep-fried donuts were baked.
It was possible to have a bite to eat not only in the main restaurant, but also on the territory. In the tent on the way to the beach, they baked guzelme cakes with various fillings, at the pool bar there was delicious pizza, standard fast food, vegetables and fruits, at the beach bar they made “like shawarma”. In general, we did not threaten to lose weight in the hotel.
There are 4 a la carte restaurants on site, each of which can be visited 1 time for free. Recording takes place in the morning at the reception, there is such a special touch screen. Zeki recorded us in Chinese and Italian. I advise you to go to Chinese. There the atmosphere is pleasant, efficient head waiter, delicious ice cream, and, finally, a whole plate of beef with sweet and sour sauce. Tasty. In Italian only went in vain. Those who ordered pizza were even more or less lucky, although it was inferior to the one in the bar, it was still edible. And those poor fellows like me, who wanted to show off and ordered risotto or other pasta, ran to the main restaurant to satisfy their hunger with ice cream.

An important topic about alcohol remained undisclosed. There are no frills, but more or less soundly. Beer, though weak, but not bye. White and rosé wine from bottles (you can pour it yourself for dinner) I didn’t like it, I’m not a fan of dry wine. Although the people drank, especially the British. That's who the gluttons and drunkards are! The bars have a selection of hard drinks. Do not ask them for vodka or gin with Schweppes, be sure to pour mineral water instead of Schweppes. Muck is rare. In the bar in the main building, by the way, in the only one where there were basically no kids, they made cocktails. From the non-alcoholic assortment of drinks there were various tea bags, coffee from vending machines, cocoa, milk, colored UPI drinks, cola soda and more. The pool bar has a colored slash, like liquid popsicles. Looks awfully chemical. Airan is not at all. There are also no freshly squeezed juices, even for a fee. I liked that bottled water refrigerators are freely available at every step.
Service in the hotel is normal for such a large number of people. Don't expect personal service, the poor waiters barely manage to clean up the dirty dishes and set the tables. The territory of the hotel is kept clean, fountains, lights are turned on, flower beds are monitored. Our room was well cleaned, no complaints. The pools are filtered in the morning, and the bottom is “vacuumed” from time to time in the evening.
Liked the beach. Clean, wide, spacious. The beach is sandy, but at the water's edge there was a strip of small pebbles. Rows of sun loungers are located 40 meters from the water, it did not bother. There are enough beds. I occupied them until breakfast at 7-30 - 8-00, because I wanted to settle down in my favorite place and enjoy the gentle morning rays of the sun. There are several showers and changing rooms on the beach. But the toilet will have to run to the pools. Beach towels are issued and changed in the morning and evening according to the cards in the booth on the central path.
The sea is turquoise, clean, very salty. In the morning calm, like a mirror surface. In the afternoon, the waves rose and the current became noticeably strong, blowing the swimmers, fortunately, along the coast.
The pool is large, made like a river with bridges. There are children's areas with slides, a pirate ship, there are adult areas where you can swim. Loved the fountain and jacuzzi area. We went there after lunch. It is very pleasant, sitting in warm water, to massage the body with jets of water beating with different pressures. Free Charcot shower!

Animation is both for children (separately for Russian-speaking children) and for adults. For children, a mini club with a standard set of entertainment and a mini disco. There are paid rides for kids and a fun train that rides everyone around the territory. For adults, sports activities are held throughout the day (volleyball, football, boccia, darts, archery, dancing). There is a paid billiards and bowling. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby, chargeable in the room. The main building has an Internet cafe, a lounge with a large TV. In the evening, animation entertainment shows are held in the amphitheater, dance programs and musicals are shown.
In general, we are satisfied with the rest. The hotel has both pluses and minuses. We must always look for the positive. After all, we came to rest by the sea and the sun. And at home we are waiting for the inevitable winter, cold...
