Time of visiting the hotel from 9 to 19 June 2013.
Let's start with the flight. We flew to Turkey with the Kalavia airline - this is how one of the passengers called it when landing. Tracked the flight on an Internet, a couple of times I called TUI in a fever. The flight was rescheduled six or seven times. It’s good that we got to the airport from the region by car, and not by train. At the airport, waiting for landing, the people were visibly nervous. Time was running out, landing did not begin. The situation began to escalate, but thank God, they announced the landing. In total, the departure was delayed by 17 hours. Aircraft A-321, TUI colors. Medium shabby. The eldest daughter got a chair, the armrest of which was wrapped with adhesive tape. Everything else is normal.
We got to the hotel not on June 9 in the morning, but already on 10 at night. The TUI representative showed where the reception was and drove off further to deliver tourists to other hotels. There were 9 of us in total, including 3 children (1.5, 5.13 years old). We ordered three suites in building 4 (block A). One number was not enough, they were temporarily given in the fifth (block I). They promised to change it in the afternoon, and they did. In the rooms, of course, there was no wine and fruit, and a written apology from the TUI for the flight delay, although this is promised on their website. At the meeting in the morning with the guide, the issue of flight delay and compensation was not raised at all by the guide. They reminded themselves of the stolen day of rest. Before the flight, I repeat, I called the TUI hotline with a question about compensation for the delay, they offered to either return the money (hassle with documents), or take a free tour on the spot. As a result, in the form of compensation, we were offered a visit to a night disco on a ship or a hammam ($ 50 per person). We took a bath. They asked me to write something like a complaint against Kolavia and demand compensation for the flight delay.

Hamam at the hotel was quite decent, good massage. After the massage, a secret is revealed to you that you are “near death”, you have many “problems”, and that there is a last chance to “stay alive” - this is an urgent appointment for a massage course of 7-12 days, well, depending on the time of your stay In a hotel. Problems were found in everyone except children).
Then at the same time about excursions, in a nutshell.
We took a tour - "Antique Side" $ 45. Everything seems to be fine, but half of the ruins are not included in the visit. They didn’t wander around the amphitheater, they didn’t show the famous Side arch on the coast, but half the time was spent visiting jewelry and textiles. But in general, not bad. It's funny... in the parking lot at the jewelry center, while they were smoking, a grandfather came up and sold all kinds of Rolex watches. Started with 100 euros, finished with 10$. Realizing that we are not interested in super watches, I took out the perfume "Chanel No. 5")))). We hid from him on the bus. So if anyone needs....)
We wanted to take an excursion to the aquarium in Atntalia, but the price of $65 seemed too high. $29 admission, $36 drop-off, no food. . . but the guide said the aquarium costs $40! Liar! We decided to visit the aquarium on our own.
We rented two cars for $50, plus fuel - $35 and $67 for 25 liters per car (one car on gas). Ride on the navigator in the phones. As a result: we visited the aquarium, the old part of the city in Antalya, boarded a yacht there ($ 20 per person) and swam in the sea along the beautiful coast of Antalya. Then we went shopping. Those who are interested in shopping in Side should go to the Kyumkoy area. This is along the sea, beyond Side towards Antalya. Landmark - "Kyumkoy shopping center. This is not a large covered "bazaar". But it is better to wander around the shops around, of which there are many.
And so we finally go to the hotel.
The overall impression of the hotel is positive. The territory is large and beautiful and all in greenery.

There is only one Russian-speaking girl at the reception, Oksana. Most likely from Ukraine. Didn't show any particular kindness. Helped with car rental. But on the day of departure, but it turned out that the departure was late at 19.40, she really yelled at me !! ! It was a matter of renewing the number. Having found out from her that we can extend only one number out of three, and then only until 15:00, I took a timeout to think. Well, they decided to extend it to at least three for 30 bucks, but she went somewhere. They called her to me. Oksana came out very dissatisfied and in very raised tones - “why are you pulling me every second !!! ” waved her hand at her Turkish colleague, added - “out, she will issue! ” and left. I’m upset (. I was run over for the first time at the reception! Otherwise, the reception staff were quite adequate. There was a case when, foolishly, they slammed all two electronic keys in the room, gave the third one without any problems. I remember how in another Turkish hotel I was 5 $ had to beg for an extra key.
In the lobby, at the reception, there is free WIFI. In rooms paid -15 euros for login and password.
We had two rooms on the 4th floor, one on the first (zero), I repeat in the 4th building. The filling is the same, but the room on the first floor does not have a large balcony, there is no carpet, and it is damp like in the basement. Room with two separate rooms. The large room has a double bed in the other two single beds. Two balconies. On the smaller balcony, there is a sliding clothes dryer. The air conditioner is general, copes with difficulty. There are two ancient small Philips TVs + two non-native remote controls without the ability to exit the menu. Everything is standard in the bathroom - a large mirror, a sink, a toilet bowl, a bathroom with an attached shower at the top that can be rotated and changed the direction of the jet, a broken (in my room) but glued and working hair dryer. There are a couple of shower caps in boxes and a hygienic bag. No soap, shampoo, etc. There is green liquid soap. Previously, they wrote here that it is better not to use it,... why? Soap is like soap. Acid burns and discoloration of the skin of the hands were not noticed.
The overall impression of the room is good, if you do not pay attention to the shabby. Somewhere, a corner near the bedside table is chipped off, a scratch here and there, somewhere, the trimmings are tinted. If you don’t get hung up on this and don’t specifically look for flaws, then it’s quite chic.
Room cleaning was excellent. EVERY day the carpet was vacuumed, towels and bed linen were changed, even some flowers were laid out of our clothes a couple of times. True, swans were not twisted from towels. They brought a bottle and a half of water, which was already piled up on the first floor near the elevator. Left 2-3 dollars daily.

The safe in the room is paid, but you may be lucky and you can use it for free. I reveal a couple of secrets. If you check in and the safe is open - Bingo!!! ! Freebie!! ! We press the reset on the end of the back side of the door, enter our code (4 digits), and press the "A" key, and that's it. If the safe is initially closed, then you may be lucky here too, we type four zeros, the A key and... here 50/50. But the minus of such a safe is in these zeros. Whatever code you enter, in addition to your code, it will always open with 4 zeros. If nothing helped, but you want a safe, then only for money.
There is also a bar fridge. No, it is correct to say - just a small refrigerator. There is no bar, except for a couple of small bottles of water once, there)))). And you can hardly call it a refrigerator. It is hidden in a deaf cabinet under the TV, and is rather a heater. If you need a refrigerator, it is better to remove it from there, or at least always keep the cabinet door open.
Restaurant. I don't feel like describing in detail.
A crowd of people does not gather at the door, waiting for the opening of the restaurant. There is no excitement. There are practically no queues, 2-5 people. maximum. The waiters try, but not always in time. But they try to keep the tables clean. The dishes are not always perfectly clean. There are plates with dried food particles. Skovyrnul and clean). The glasses are especially dirty. Fingerprints and lips are noticeable, plus stains of dried detergent, a consequence of not thoroughly washing in water. BUT! By the time I left, I noticed that the glasses were much cleaner.
The food is standard for most of these hotels. There is a choice. There's a lot, but I don't eat it! And so, there is meat, chicken, turkey, fish!
Sweet is not their forte, but it will do. Ice cream is delicious. They gave it to me everywhere, always and without restriction. I read that there were cases when the Russians were not given.
Lots of fruits. Melon and Watermelon are not always ripe - grass. Peaches, sweet nectarines. I didn’t see cherries and strawberries... although I once saw my aunt carrying a plate with a hill of strawberries from the restaurant. Probably all OK was once.
The drinks.

Cola, fanta, sprite are good everywhere. At lunch, dinner, bartenders prepare drinks in advance. There are a lot of glasses of lemonade with ice, but this is some kind of diluted shnyaga! I approached and asked to pour in front of me without ice, the drink was already cold. There are vending machines with UPI - orange, lemon, cherry, apple, something else. Drink it or not drink it, it's up to you. I drank while I was alive.
Tea in bags, coffee in vending machines, sugar separately).
Beer. Beer is good only in the restaurant and in the "zodiac bar" in the lobby. All the beer on the street is beer-flavored soda.
Swimming pool.
I will not paint, everything is cool, you can see everything in the pictures. Large swimming pool, several children's slides, and one big one for adults. Warm water. There is also a large indoor pool, but the water in it is quite cool, unlike the outdoor pool. There are a lot of sunbeds, but 99% are occupied by 10 o'clock. One or two can sometimes be found, but most likely without an umbrella. 15-20% empty, but busy.
Beach.
The beach is big. There are no umbrellas. There are shared sheds. Sun loungers stand in rows, but tourists are randomly pulled out from under the awnings. Far from the canopies to the water. Barefoot, not everyone will walk on hot sand to the sea. The beach is basically clean. Sand with small pebbles. Entry is not always comfortable. It was almost always stormy. The water was cloudy and almost clear because of the sand, there was a lot of debris in the form of leaves. Packages, bottles did not notice. It was calm for a couple of days before leaving. Swimming with a mask. There are a lot of fish aground (up to the chest), rarely in the depths, but larger and more colorful fish come across. The bottom is sand, in some places algae. There are many shells like the Black Sea "rapana", but more elongated. For an hour of swimming, I caught 6 sunglasses and one underwater mask). There were no expensive ones.
A couple of times I had to use the services of a doctor.

We had insurance from Ingosstrakh with a deductible of 30 dollars (any visit to the doctor costs 30 bucks, subsequent expenses, if necessary, at the expense of the insurance). There is no need to call anywhere, we go to the local doctor, they call themselves, hand over the phone to you, there is a Russian girl on the wire, we explain everything to her, dictate the policy number, then the doctor treats you. The youngest daughter (5 years old) fell ill for the first time - a cold, temp. 38.5. The doctor examined and dispensed medicines. A day later, the child was already swimming in a warm pool. For some reason they didn’t take the money, maybe they forgot. The day before I left, my ear got inflamed. In my case, they took 30 bucks.
At the end of the flight home.
According to the plan, they were supposed to be taken out of the hotel at 4.30 in the morning, but to our great happiness, in addition to compensation in the form of a boor, they returned the day of rest. Instead of the "wonderful" Kolavia, the flight was changed to Vimavia. Departure from the hotel 19.40. The bus was not late. But TUI cannot do without jokes! They took us to the airport terminal number 2. We passed a thorough metal control, we approached the scoreboard... but there was no flight! My panic. It turned out that our flight from terminal number 1. Back on the bus, and all over again and it's at 11 pm with small children!
The Boeing 757 is much newer and more comfortable than the stakes. But they didn’t give me sweets and they had a couple of dozen pillows with blankets for the whole plane.
Most likely I won’t go with TUI anymore, with Colavia for sure. In general, TUI, in my practice, is the worst operator in the line of tour operators with which I have dealt.
