We rested with my husband and two-year-old daughter, choosing a hotel for a long time and meticulously, after reading reviews and information on the Turtessa website. I have never seen such a disgusting attitude towards myself on vacation anywhere! The hotel itself is beautiful, good design, nice beach. But! Problems begin immediately upon arrival. We were not able to settle in a room of the paid category (Sea View Superior) even on the second day. We spent the first day behind the main entrance to the hotel in some room without a balcony and a corridor, the door opens directly to the street. But this is nonsense. As a result, we were settled on the second day in a family room (two-room suite) after a threat to draw up an act on the non-provision of a room of the paid category and a demand to replace the hotel.
With food is a separate song. In the main restaurant for breakfast, you can feed the child with rolls and fried potatoes. The children's "menu" is represented by a blender and a microwave (apparently, they offer to make mashed potatoes in a blender from fried potatoes). Irena, a young lady in public relations, works at the reception desk - the most unpleasant person. So, I turned to her with a request to tell in the kitchen that at least one milk porridge was prepared for the children in the morning. WEEK!! ! I went to the reception to swear at the reception because of this porridge, for a week they proved to me that porridge is cooked every day! Because of a bowl of porridge for a child, I have never been so humiliated in my life! As a result, after a grandiose scandal, they began to cook porridge. Whole two! Semolina (raw semolina was poured with warm milk and such a “feeding” was offered to kids) and either rice (it’s just undercooked rice filled with milk - after heating in the microwave, adding sugar and grinding with a blender, this could be given to the baby with grief in half) or oatmeal ( raw oat groats - not flakes, but groats, tough and in the husk !! ! - again, filled with warm milk). In short, if your child is used to eating fried potatoes, then it will not be difficult to feed him. Children who are accustomed to normal homemade food will have nothing to eat. Lunch is a separate "song". Lunch at the main restaurant is NOT SERVED! Eating is offered in the heat and sunshine in open bars by the pool or on the beach. The range of food in such bars is appropriate: french fries, hamburgers, pizza, kebabs. Saved by the presence of some kind of soup-puree in the pool bar, in which I chopped fried meat and kneaded fried potatoes with a fork to feed the child. There are NO highchairs for children in the pool bar! Feeding a child at an adult table is another pleasure. As a result, my husband dragged us children's chairs from the main restaurant. The only normal food at the hotel was offered for dinner - there was always mashed potatoes, some kind of boiled or baked fish, meat. I am talking about nutrition in the context of the food that you can feed a child without compromising health, since an adult will not remain hungry - something, but he will find something to chew on. But with food for children - yes, it was just GUARD! Although the hotel is just declared as one of the best for families with children. Drinking other than tea and mineral water is also normal in the hotel! Freshly squeezed orange juice could only be bought during breakfast for 1 hour! My husband found a way out and went to a grocery store in the village (it took him half an hour to do everything), bought good quality packaged juices there (5 liter bags for $ 4, and in a hotel in a store 1 liter of juice cost $ 3.5 ) and yogurt-cottage cheeses-cookies-mashed potatoes for the baby.
In short, there was a complete "ambush" with food for the children, all Russian and Ukrainian parents of the same kids we met there were indignant. The only thing that made me happy was good fruits: apples, pears, peaches, oranges, grapes, lemons, etc. (FOR DINNER!! ! at lunch, the choice of fruits was minimal - half-green watermelon or watermelon plus the same half-green melon). Good coffee in the hotel you just do not drink, even for the money. Even oriental coffee - and that is available only around 22.00-23.00 (the most relevant time for drinking coffee). Ice cream during the day by the pool and in the evening at dinner is not bad. Desserts are mostly so-so. The chocolate mousse and egg soufflé were delicious, the baklava was good. Anything could be taken out of the restaurant - no one took away the plates. We stocked up on dinner fruit for the next day.

Children's entertainment. Mini-club "Toucan" was mostly closed. A playground is a place where parents entertain their children on their own. It's very dirty there. After riding down a hill and on a swing, a child needs to be completely washed - the entire playground is covered with a thick layer of gray dust with dirt in half (it's not even sand... ) The toilet on the playground is simply amazing unsanitary conditions - it stinks, like I don’t know where. No soap to wash hands, no toilet paper, dirt. . Of all the children's entertainment, we really saw only one thing - a children's disco in the evenings. We went there after dinner without fail - my daughters really liked it.
Beach. Again, dirt. The sun loungers and mattresses on the beach are so dirty that it is disgusting to touch them. And it’s not at all clear whether it’s dirt or some kind of mold on them. I have never seen sun loungers like this before. Bar on the beach. There is basically no music. It looks like some kind of soviet canteen. It's good that there are normal toilets nearby, because it's pretty decent to stomp from the main building of the hotel (and from the beach bungalows) to the beach. The beach is sandy interspersed with small pebbles (near the water itself). A very strong wind constantly blows from the sea, the sea has never been calm. But during our vacation it was so hot that the wind was not felt (we did not freeze on the beach), the water was warm, and the child really liked the waves. In short, almost all the time (except for the baby's daytime sleep) we spent on the beach.
SPA-center. This is the only good thing about this hotel. Prices are simply nowhere lower, plus we were given huge discounts (for five massage procedures, if you pay right away, we paid for 4 plus the sixth as a gift). I liked the massages, I liked the hammam. Both my husband and I went for massages. I especially enjoyed the full body massage with heated volcanic stones - it was just great! The staff in the SPA center is qualified and friendly, they are very happy with tips. And the discounts that they do - well, they cannot but rejoice))
Housekeeping and replenishment of the mini-bar. With this, personally, our family never has problems. The maids regularly find tips and our domestic chocolate as a souvenir (we left a dollar tip every day, and chocolate - sometimes every other day, sometimes every three days), they are very happy about this, they clean it immediately after breakfast, and sometimes during breakfast. Our maid's husband replenished the minibar. So once having received a tip (we caught him while on duty), he dragged us drinks of the best quality (those that replenish the minibar for the Germans, completely different lemonades are in store for Russians - rare swill) and not twice a week (as it should be for Russians ) but every day.

In general, the junior staff of the hotel was just on top - waiters, chauffeurs, room service.
The general impression of the rest - everything could be understood if we went to three stars. For a five-star hotel, such service is just a SHAME!! !
