decided to go not so far, namely to Istanbul, to bring such a welcome variety to leisure. the choice fell on Constantinople because of the low prices for air travel (about $ 200 per person in both directions) and the price democracy of the destination itself.
The hotel was booked through an agency. as it turned out later, they did the right thing. this is one of the few cases where it is more profitable than coming at random. the prices stated for the rooms at the reception were higher than those offered to us for payment.
the hotel is located right in the city center. after 2 minutes walk Top Kapi and a lovely park near the palace, within another 3 minutes you can get to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque. heading the other way along the tram tracks for 7 minutes, a lovely view of the Bosphorus from the embankment opens up.

there are few staff in the hotel: 4 people in shifts. very very helpful, always happy to help. from tips on where to go shopping and how to get to attractions away from the hotel, ending with cola while waiting for a transfer. around the clock tea-coffee-water, you can carry in the room. Tomorrows are good, but you have to come early.
Terrassa always provides an opportunity to drink tea, gazing at passers-by and other residents of the hotel, among whom one can hardly meet immigrants from the CIS.
the rooms have wi-fi, downstairs there is a computer with internet access, everything is free.
as for the rooms, there is a TV with many channels (Russian one), a shower, a large bed. the only negative was the size of the room, just impossibly miniature, that without suitcases we could not place a small bag without tripping over it. audibility is also very good. okay, if you yourself become a source of noise, but what if the other way around?
in general, in terms of democracy, service and location, the hotel is wonderful. and what else is needed for an active holiday in this magnificent city, which is so addictive that there is only time left for an elementary short overnight stay?
