Rested with a young man in March 2010. I'll start in order. The hotel provides a TRANSFER from the airport for free, in case of staying at the hotel for more than 4 days (we ourselves bought plane tickets and booked a hotel, so it was very popular for us). There were no problems with the transfer, as soon as we left the airport we saw a Turk with a cardboard tabular on which our names were written =) They kindly helped us carry our luggage. ACCOMMODATION. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were immediately met and escorted to the room (I don’t remember that it took at least some time =)), the luggage was again reported for us. ROOM. Small, but quite enough to feel comfortable: bed, minibar, TV, 3 bedside tables (2 bedside tables and one with a large mirror), shower, toilet. Everything is very clean and tidy. Our windows overlooked the street, I don’t remember the noise, cars are rare guests there. But in the same hotel there are rooms overlooking the courtyard, in the courtyard, either a construction site or a garbage dump, in general, is not impressive, so this should be taken into account when booking. SERVICE. Not a single problem during the entire stay! It so happened that we were some kind of annoying vacationers =) - either we needed 2 chairs in the room, then we had to explain how to get somewhere, then explain again, because we forgot, etc. Everything was always very friendly ! FOOD. Minirestaurant, located on the top floor of the hotel overlooking St. Sophia, the roofs of Istanbul and the Golden Horn, very beautiful. There is also an outdoor terrace on the roof (we did not have breakfast there, because it was still cool, but after tomorrow, you are always welcome to go up and admire - everything is open). It was also a pleasant surprise that you can use the restaurant at any time, on the first day we bought food to go, asked for the keys and voila, the first romantic evening in Istanbul is ready =) The hotel provides only breakfast, but what! =) Buffet: fresh vegetables, cheese, sausage, various breakfast cereals, pastries (not Turkish sweets), jams, if you wish, you can order scrambled eggs (they are made to order); from drinks: tea, coffee, milk, juices. I heard many times that real Turkish coffee is rare, I don’t know whose coffee was in the hotel, but I didn’t drink such delicious coffee with milk anywhere else =(In general, for 10 days of stay, there were never any nitpicks, like " every day the same thing, tired. "TIPS. We left a tip for cleaning the room, but rather not to improve the quality (everything was fine with this, they cleaned every day), but because everything was somehow at home, cozy, just wanted to thank you for the atmosphere! LOCATION. Very, very good, the center of the historic city, the famous Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are within easy reach. Also close to the Grand Bazaar (where they mostly buy souvenirs) and a couple of stops to the famous Laleli district, where our compatriots buy clothes to sell in our markets))) To sum up, the hotel and its staff contributed a lot to a good holiday experience! Highly recommend! !
