In January 2019, I booked a double room at this hotel for 6 days for the May holidays, as I always plan my travels in advance, and the prices are noticeably lower in advance. The room for 6 nights cost $202 (this will be important later). In the booking, of course, the details of my bank card were indicated, to which the Sirkeci Family Hotel had no questions for 4 months. Moreover, the hotel cheerfully corresponded with me, promising either a quieter room or intimate conversations in Russian. However, just before the flight, I receive a message from the hotel that they cannot charge money from my card. Well, ok, I thought, who doesn’t happen to me, and sent them the details of another work card. I note that the previous card was also absolutely solvent. But no matter what, this hotel cancels the reservation three days before my departure, as the hotel considered the second card to be non-working !! ! And lo and behold, my canceled number goes on sale before the May holidays for $404!! ! Although there were no available rooms at the hotel a couple of days before. By the way, a few minutes later I easily paid for another hotel on a supposedly “non-working” card without any problems. From this I conclude that the above-named hotel is a scammer. They overlapped with my booking until they were sure the hotel was full, but once it was full they kicked me out like a dog. They do not value their reputation and their customers.
