My husband and I flew together for the first time and not for long - such a Christmas mini-vacation in Istanbul, I liked it and remembered it)
We flew with Turkish Airlines - the flight was short and pleasant, the flight attendants were cute Turkish women with Hollywood smiles. We were met at the airport and brought to the hotel very quickly. We didn’t have time to get out of the car, as our suitcase was already picked up and carried to the room, settled quickly without filling out questionnaires and various nonsense.
The hotel fully corresponds to the declared stars. The location is super!! ! Clean, cozy, small, under the "old Sultan's chambers)", next to the mosque (at 6 am the call to prayer of the mullah is colorful), a souvenir and clothing market. The hotel courtyard is landscaped and flowers are blooming (and this is in January! ). The room is very small: there is a 2nd bed in the room, 2 bedside tables, a locker and a TV in the niche. no shower cabin - just a hole in the floor, a sink and a toilet, and the door opens inside. Towels, soap, shampoos - changed every day. But we only spent the night in the room, so we didn’t attach much importance to this; )

On the first evening we went to dinner on the embankment to the fish market in a fish restaurant - expensive! But they cook in front of you and the view is amazing.
Breakfast at the hotel is varied, but the quality of the products is average (especially cold cuts, sausages, potatoes - paper).
The excursion program was rich from 9 to 18. Tired? -yes, but we were satisfied and happy! Many thanks to the guide Illaria, I really liked all the tourists, I advise you to get to her on excursions!
We visited mosques, palaces, squares, a hippodrome, an Egyptian market. came back without legs. They brought a lot of souvenirs, gifts and a lot of impressions!! !
