To be honest - we are still those skiers. There was no special experience and skill. But in December, we went for the weekend with friends, a large company to Sorochany and ...fell ill with this business. Therefore, it was decided, without delay, to continue this exciting activity and “ride somewhere else”.

The selection criteria were as follows: not far, but not in Russia, not expensive, and “immediately on the mountain” - so as not to go to the ski lift, but went straight out and already there.

Based on the stated wishes, Turkey, Uludag, was chosen. The tour was bought in the company. They are one of the few specializing in Turkey and in particular in the resort of Uludag. The hotel was chosen from those that are cheaper, since we were not going to sit in it, and we were not looking for increased comfort.

Flight and transfer: Departed without delay and unnecessary delays from Vnukovo. They flew perfectly, 2.5 hours in total and landed softly in Istanbul.

Surprisingly, there were few tourists, and we received our luggage in a matter of minutes without any pressure or fuss. We were met by the guides of the Only Tour in a small minibus, which was very surprising - the hosts put all the other tourists in large buses and began a long delivery to the hotels, and we were individually (! ) taken directly to the hotel. Then they explained to us that they always have only an individual transfer, at the price of a group. We drove for a long time, 5 hours, and were very hungry, I must say. Therefore, we were very glad that we had time right in time for dinner.

Hotel: Old, albeit renovated, no elevator, but we are not pensioners, and there were no children with us. But it was clean, comfortable and quiet. From the pros:

food is beyond praise. We had it 4 times. Everything was always amazingly tasty, although maybe not too varied, but none of us remained hungry and dissatisfied;

service is extremely rare.

Everything in the rooms was shiny, linen and towels were changed daily (! ). There was always a waiter at the table, and I’m generally silent about the ski room - everyone is served, unfastened, fastened, only they almost put their legs in and don’t tie their shoelaces;

rise - you can say right in the hotel there was a lift (chair lift). It was 50 meters from it to the locker room. That is, the hotel stood on the very slope. The price is 15 dollars. We rented skis for 10. And all the rest of the uniform was brought with us.

Of the minuses: well, there was a real lack of a sauna and a pool - after skiing - it would be very helpful.

Slopes: The weather was just wonderful, there was a lot of snow and almost no wind. The slope itself is medium in difficulty. Judging by the fact that on the weekends local Turks came to our slope, and tourists from other hotels periodically came - it was the best in the area. Although we are "teapots", we got enormous pleasure and did not interfere with anyone.

Professionals easily circled us; .

Road home: Here again we felt the difference between a group transfer and an individual one. The guys who were leaving on the same day as we were taken to the airport at 4 am, although their flight was at 2.30 pm. And we (thanks to Only Tour) left on the same minibus 6 hours before departure, arrived with a breeze and comfort for 4.50 just in time for check-in, and did not hang around at the airport too much time.

In general, I don’t know how it is in Austria and Switzerland (and I won’t find out soon, because, firstly, it’s a little expensive, and secondly, we still don’t really know how to ride for such steep slopes), but the Turkish mountains of Uludag conquered us for the next some years. The overall impression is just wonderful.
