Don't hesitate to read to the end!!!
We rested in the boarding house "Avtoiskra" from July 31 to August 9.2017. The room was booked in advance - a month and a half in advance. We were very surprised that the administration of the boarding house did not take an advance payment. Two weeks later, during the control call, the administrator was even more surprised: they said that the price of the room includes 2 complex meals. When she asked about this attraction of unprecedented generosity, the administrator said that this was a marketing ploy. I immediately remembered the free cheese in the mousetrap. In the end, everything turned out to be so.
A two-room suite costs 900 hryvnia per day, and we rested for 10 days. We booked a two-room suite for two families - me with an adult daughter and a sister with three children -12 years old, 5 years old and 1.3 years old. I would like the administration to take into account the comments and eliminate them.

So, from the very beginning... Having booked a room in advance, immediately before the trip I began to read fresh reviews and somehow felt uneasy. The reviews were unflattering. Especially from Sumy. At first I thought it was slander. Upon arrival, it turned out to be true. But there was nowhere to go.
The first day we went for dinner. I do not pretend to be a great culinary specialist, but I was very surprised by two types of pasta in one plate - "pen" and "spiral". They even cook for different times. As a result, the “feathers” are overcooked, the “spirals” are normal. Too bad I didn't take a photo. The salad was made from long cut cucumbers and tomatoes. The dishes are almost all broken, there is a photo. My daughter counted 8 chips on one plate!! ! Just like after the war. Even in Soviet times, I don’t remember this in the school cafeteria. We “swallowed” it all, literally and figuratively.
For breakfast there was barley with a semblance of a cutlet and long-cut cucumbers. We didn’t eat almost when we made a remark to the assistant cook about the menu (we also remembered yesterday’s pasta), she shouted at the whole dirty dining room “This is a royal dish! ”. When asked if she eats this “royal dish”, the answer was “no”. And in addition, she said that she had a bag of this cereal. The prospects were not bright: I didn’t want to eat barley for the whole vacation.
Lunch was also on the "troika". After that, we decided to talk to the director and look for an alternative food. We solved the problem with food quickly - we went to eat in a private boarding house on Azovskaya 15 a. The price of complex meals is 10 hryvnia cheaper compared to Avtospark, but the quality of cooking is many times higher.

We waited for the director and voiced his comments about food. He reacted calmly, adequately, said that the kitchen is a weak point. At that moment, the assistant cook came and asked if we were talking about her. We young ladies are not timid and, not sparing epithets, began to criticize her cooking and inappropriate appearance. I made a remark about observing the rules of sanitation and hygiene when preparing food. According to sanitary standards, all kitchen workers, without exception, must be in disposable caps, special clothes and shoes, and all this must be removed when leaving the dining room. As a result, when we came to dinner, a cook came out of the kitchen with a defiant look (hands on hips) in a disposable hat! We didn’t understand, she went out to show herself or to see who was so smart, she, the “mistress of the sea” (according to Pushkin’s work), to make comments.
Working as a food industry technologist and having experience, I can say that no one has heard of washings from tables, dishes, hands of kitchen workers, and overalls. But this is already the competence of the Derzhprodspozhivsluzhby in the Genichesk district of the Kherson region, where this boarding house territorially belongs.
This whole picture was completed by two cute cats that lived in the kitchen - a black one with a white one, which was spinning at the feet of the kitchen workers, earning their own food, and a gray one with a collar, who looked sadly out the window, climbing the tables, which were then swept away with a dry brush (only with her ) by fellow trainees. Some of the tables are wooden, I can’t even imagine how they can be disinfected. All about nutrition.
Now about the numbers. We lived on the second floor in room 28. When we entered the floor, a slight smell of a cheap air freshener struck my nose and struck the “lounge area”, as my daughter called the “droplets” next to the room. There was all sorts of rubbish in the form of an old wardrobe, his coeval armchair, later a mop joined them. Nobody prepared for the season, nothing was “whitewashed and painted. ” The staff in the corridor does not sweep away the cobwebs: why? One could only dream of cleaning the room (and for some reason the room had carpet, a very convenient neighborhood: carpet and sand). At least break the maids - a bunch of rooms for two people. They cleaned us 1 time in 10 days and we didn’t ask them about it anymore: it was a pity for these two wrapped up women.
In our room there was one double wardrobe for two families - not enough for 3 adults and 3 children. Things were dried on a dryer, they did not dry in the room, there is no balcony, you can’t take it out into the street from the second floor. Everything dried up on our bodies.

We met with other guests of the boarding house. I won’t tell their opinion, I don’t like “damaged phone”. But I think that it should be said that those people who lived in houses were forced to either eat in the dining room or pay 30 hryvnia per day per room for using the kitchen. Such an "extra income" out of the blue.
The area was once well-maintained. Now there is nothing, there is a place to wash your feet after the beach, sit, fry a barbecue, play volleyball, ride a swing. But I especially want to stop at the playground: there was no sand in the sandbox - apparently, the administration decided that there was enough sand on the beach, the slide was the same as the Sumy resident described in the previous review. There are bins available on the territory, but they offer to take out the garbage from the rooms to the trash cans, and this is at the entrance to the base (it’s a bit far to go there from the second floor of the main building).
I will also describe the advantages of this “oasis of comfort and coziness”: close proximity to the sea and a hydropathic clinic, comparative silence (this is an important factor for families with children), the beach has its own covered areas with benches, at our request they gave us an electric kettle in the room. Summing up, we can say that this is a boarding house for one time. I would not want to return here, although I love the Sea of u200bu200bAzov very much. The administrator and the accountant did not want to conflict, they "shifted" at each other, which is understandable, the Kherson region is a depressed region, with work and pay tight. Rested all the same well, bought up, sunbathed. The criticism was constructive and we hope that the administration will draw conclusions and improve its work for the next summer season.
