Just now I came from the "sanatorium Desna" in the literal sense of the word - I took a ticket for a child of 7 years old, they promised to treat chronic tanzilit, a chic pastime, luxury rooms, etc. After watching advertisements and commercials, I was fascinated and touched by the amenities and comfort of this "sanatorium". Not for a second hesitating with the choice "grabbed off a ticket" in his native Ukrtelecom and today in the morning he took his son to "rest". I didn’t have to fly by plane - it’s true! We drove from Chernihiv 40 min. by bus, nature immediately pleased the eye - chic pines and deciduous trees, the air is simply saturated with oxygen . . that's probably all I can say is positive.
Now the settlement: The aforementioned Lyubov Stepanovna was met quite decently, a pleasant woman, but going inside the old building (where we were received and settled) a strange, fearful feeling crept in, with the hope that they would settle somewhere but not here. Having written down the “metrics” of the child with a smile on her face, we were “handed over” to the teacher (pioneer leader in the old fashioned way), with the same cordiality she opened the room where my son was supposed to live for 21 days and then I was shocked:
The room has not been renovated for at least 10-15 years without exaggeration!!! ! Dark shabby wallpapers, tsvil (black fungus that appears in high humidity) in the corners, curtains were like that in my childhood (30 years ago), + half-torn, crooked, furniture (if you can call it that - no younger than curtains in a terrible state to say the least, - the bedside tables are closed with a carnation, the bedspreads are just as decrepit!! ! The mattresses have "large yellow spots and for some reason are burned (photo made). The linoleum is broken and the beds were rearranged to the places of the "passages and back" to update the view, and so apparently several times , despite all this, that I specifically walked through the rooms of the right and left wings with the hope of seeing "advertising comfort" - sorry, the 1st floor of the old building has this in any room. A washbasin with rusty pipes is out of the question, the mirror is nailed high, as for an adult, because the "nailer" could not apparently attach lower to the tile.

The toilet is a separate shock (I took a picture of everything on the fobil, to my great regret I didn’t think to take the camera) - there is no toilet lid, but for the child to relieve himself, sorry “big” - you need to stand on the bricks deftly smeared and painted horizontally, attached to this toilet.
The shower is completely unsanitary! Fungus in the openings of the tiles on the floor, three rains, one of them flows by itself, the tiles on the floor are cracked again - there is every chance of injuring your leg! And the "rug" in the room measuring 50x100cm seems to be a shedding dog or a homeless person sleeping on it - I really do not exaggerate and do not underestimate!
He turned to Lyubov Stepanovna with a request to "explain the situation. " The response received was:
"I understand you perfectly, but you didn't see what was going on here yesterday", today everything is much better, they carried out a "major cleaning"".
I asked that the child be provided with the promised conditions stated when buying a ticket and even in the promotional videos themselves, because the majority of "vacationers" are guided by the Internet, reviews and impressions when choosing.
Lyubov Stepanovna, somewhat wary, instantly called the head physician Sergey Myaga, and just as instantly they gave us the go-ahead to settle in the new "luxury" building with plastic windows, cleanliness, etc. , but there the son will be alone, there are no children there and the "pioneer" is another building, sometimes he will look after him, they say you are welcome and sorry again "!!!
We got back in the same train as we arrived, brought up by "happy parents", a cat. they brought three girls - they got the same impression, the only thing is that the girls are 13 years old and they are from the same class of the same school, so they say, let them be, but they "agreed" if anything - we'll pick it up tomorrow. All the way they "exchanged" the situation they saw, and all this for only 2500 UAH for 21 days.
Conclusion - it is simply dangerous to take children there, in the conditions that are "nicely provided" there

I will post a photo, and as you understand, I took the child, to my great regret, I will have to "protect my native places and go on vacation abroad", the difference in price is not so big, but once again I am convinced that there is always an alternative and unfortunately in Ukraine there is no many "vacation places" can become it!
