Initially, we were going to another resort, but there were no places there, so we started calling the bases in Katranka. And then they called the first number to the first base that came across, which they found on the Internet, there was a free place for dates suitable for us, so we immediately booked a room, transferring an advance for a day of living in it.
There are three types of rooms at the Burevestnik base - economy, comfort and deluxe. We booked a comfort room. Cost per day - 800 UAH, room for three. We immediately liked the base. It is large, green, there are two buildings and separate small houses. In the evening it is dark at the base, there are lanterns, but they barely shine. There is a small playground for children at the base.
The comfort room has a toilet, shower, TV, air conditioning and refrigerator. A tank is leaking in the toilet, the door to the shower does not even open all the way, you have to crawl sideways, since everyone in our family is thin, we climbed through. There is no curtain in the shower so puddles build up at the door good, be careful not to slip. And also be careful, cold water flows from the tap with a red icon, and hot water with it off. There was no TV in the room, when this was pointed out, the administrator suggested that we move it from another empty room ourselves. But there is no satellite TV at the base, so only two of the channels are shown. And initially we were offered a room where instead of a refrigerator there is a mini bar. The room itself is small, there is nowhere to turn around. Of the pluses - a large closet, there is a mirror in height. Technical water flows at the base, only drinking water can be collected in the kitchen. By the way, on the site where we found this base, it is indicated that there is Wi-Fi, but in fact it was not.

The beds here are normal, you can sleep. The bedding is old, they give shelter either with a blanket or a sheet, although the size of the sheet is not more than 60 cm wide, so not a sheet, but a piece of cloth.
There is a dining room on the base, as well as a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. We didn’t go to the dining room, so I won’t say how they cook there, but I didn’t notice any queues of those who wanted to. But the kitchen shocked me. Firstly, here you have to pay extra 20 UAH per day for using the kitchen, which I met for the first time, although I periodically rest at different recreation centers. Secondly, there are practically no utensils in the kitchen, there is one frying pan and a couple of pots for the entire base. There is no kettle in the kitchen, and there is no electric kettle in the room, and it is forbidden to use it in the room. And the kitchen is open from 8 am to 8 pm, which is also not very convenient if you like to drink coffee at 7 am or just return from the beach at 8 pm. They also don’t always open it at 8, I had to look for an administrator a couple of times at 8-20 to open it, but they can close it at 19.45.
It is clear that much of the above is trifles, but everything was superimposed one on one, plus the administrator did not like the attitude. She was not rude, but constantly pretended that we owed her something. When the light bulb in the kitchen burned out and I made a remark to her, she replied that why was there a light bulb, anyway, by 20.00 she would close the kitchen. And much more.
So I do not recommend the base. For the money you can find a much better and more decent base in this resort with a normal attitude.
