Stayed at the hotel over Christmas 2015. From the good: 1) location in the center, at the beginning of my favorite Khreshchatyk
2) beautiful interior (everything was beautifully decorated for the new year)
3) a beautiful restaurant (a bit pretentious) at breakfast there was even live music on the piano. This is where the pluses end. Then begins the soviet attitude towards visitors. During the three days of our stay at the hotel, towels were never changed for us, mini-cosmetics were not updated. Cleaning consisted of picking up trash bags and that's it. The bathroom in our room was half closed with some kind of partition, so no matter how hard we tried not to splash water, puddles still formed on the floor, which the maids stupidly ignored. When on the second day of our stay in Kyiv the frost started -15, it became very cold in the room. I had to sleep wearing all the sweaters and sweaters that I had with me. Of course, it would be possible to "shake the rights" at the reception, but this is unlikely to change anything in the attitude of the staff towards their guests, because. they take advantage of the excellent location of the hotel, they know that people will come to them anyway.
