We rested at this base in 2009-2011 at different times, from mid-July, early August and late August, with a child. There have been no big claims for all the time, for children, I think, there is simply no alternative in Azov, or even in the whole of Crimea. I'll start with what I didn't like:
1. Nutrition. It is better to take only a buffet in a small hall (it turns out that you can live in cheaper rooms, and take meals separately for only about 20 UAH per day per person more expensive). Because in an ordinary dining room, the food is "C grade" the choice is not large and the food ends quickly.
2. Water. But this problem is rather not the base itself, but the village as a whole. The tap water is salty, so wash food, and even more so drink only bottled water. Fortunately, there is a market and a shop near the base.

3. Children's animators. Here, as luck would have it, in 2011 there was a guy Misha from Zaporozhye, the children were crazy about him, in previous years, in my opinion, it was a little monotonous and boring (although the child did not complain).
4. There is no nature as such : (
5. There were minor flaws in the rooms, the faucet leaks slightly, the door does not close well, etc.

nothing more bad to say
What I liked (much more):
1. Nutrition. If you eat in a small hall - everything is very tasty, varied, always fresh pastries, seasonal fruits, clean dishes, juices for children, wine for adults : ). The wife even refused to go to dinner, so as not to get better.
2. Children's entertainment. In addition to animators, there are 4 playgrounds directly at the base, rental of bicycles, scooters and electric cars, cartoons in the evenings at the cinema, performances of circus groups every few days (in the same place), sports grounds (football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis) for those who are younger - a children's room, for those who are older - an internet club.
3. Clear sea and beach. When we lived in the first building from the sea, every morning we watched the cleaning of the beach, there is enough space for everyone, there are sun loungers and umbrellas for a moderate fee. Unlike the Black Sea (especially in its western part), the sea is clean even in August.
4. Everything you need is either at the base itself or next to it. Every day, fresh seasonal fruits are carried along the beach for sane money, there are two grocery stores (one at the base itself, the other nearby), a market (almost everything is there), a pharmacy on the territory and, most importantly in a holiday with children, a doctor.
5. Upon arrival / departure, they will always help with things
6. There is a private, free parking for residents.
7. Two cafes (for football fans - one has large TV, in 2010 - watched the World Cup there).
It seems that everything, if I missed something, it is only because there is much more good.
