The hotel surprised immediately! It is far from the center and yet in close proximity to it. 10 minutes and you are in close proximity to the most interesting places: the Opera House, the Dominican Republic and the House of Legends.
For those who are in the car, there is a parking lot. But we didn't need it. We are almost on foot: -)
Also, the hotel has a small observation deck and we first wandered there, taking pictures. And immediately noted - SILENCE. Only birds ...
Then, this is a real citadel, skillfully transformed into a hotel. It looks cold. For the spirit. But when you get inside, you realize that it is cozy. We had a standard room on the ground floor and I was a little shocked. That is, you go in, turn left - and you're home: -). Somehow surprised. Usually the hotel itself starts from the second floor. That is, it immediately became interesting. But you know, you're at home and on the ground floor. Separate bathroom and toilet.

Dried flowers and fruits to smell in a vase in the bathroom and a great set of herbal cleansers. Excellent lighting, by the way, is very respectful.
The room is warm and soft. Soft white bathrobes are wrapped in comfort from the shower. Philips TV. I respect this brand, it does not hurt the eyes. On the table greetings from the mineral: -) Macaroons-Valentines. And a big bed. I don't know what kind of mattress there is, but in the morning we barely got up, it's so chic. That's how he would lie and lie. The room has everything you need and at the reception several times repeated that they are available 24 hours and number 777.
That's what struck me, it's a smoking room. Honestly, I'm getting used to the fact that smokers are treated as a third class. Here she came. . it became uncomfortable to smoke in this room. It is very wise, I think, to combine a room with a hookah. Because the smell of cigarettes is completely absent.
They also offer tea and coffee and other drinks, but I came for a smoke break: -) This is the coolest room for cigarette smoking.
The dinner was absolutely stunning. It makes no sense to describe it. It is a must eat. From myself: tasty, hearty, easy and very helpful white piano: -) I like the fact that the music is nice to absorb a culinary product and enjoy the conversation. The interior of the restaurant "Cannon" conquered, to be honest: -) these cores on the ceiling: -) The color is yes, but not stressful. Mozzarella salad ...it's something! And the "duck leg" was wonderful. And panna cotta. It's all worth trying and savoring. I especially want to mention bread. All the bread is delicious and we repeatedly asked to bring more. Then they learned that they baked their own bread in the Citadel. That's how white and sesame smells to me now. He pumped up a little coffee, but they are to blame. You can't make Americano in an espresso machine: -)
We came to breakfast first, so the food was VERY MUCH!

And here we were waiting for a real delicious COFFEE. The city was just waking up, clearing the fog, and we were already admiring it, shrouded in scent. We were also asked: what will you be? is that And I don't understand any of the three languages ​ ​ without coffee. Only sign language ... : -) And ate again: -) Delicious omelet with ham and tomatoes and grapefruit juice. AND COFFEE. It immediately becomes clear why my parents traveled by train to Lviv in their youth.
Going out in the morning to the upper observation deck of the Citadel to smoke, holding a mug of morning and much-needed drink, seeing the roofs of churches, churches, towers, even under the clouds you feel great, once you were given the honor to wake up in the "castle". , fed, watered, warmed ...How to feel? There are people around you who can't be called service staff.
My stay at the hotel can be compared, perhaps, to the stay of a high-ranking person at a high level.
Maybe cool rich people have the opportunity to relax on the weekends every time, but this is my first time in this I will never forget. Thanks to this hospitality, simple human kindness. I understand perfectly well that this is a job and so on. I don't think it's just a job. Those people who work in this hotel (and the staff in the hotel is young), really like to do their job, it is visible to them, because the courtesy is sincere and not played.
Therefore, I would like to express my gratitude to the management and staff of the hotel for the rest.
There is only one downside, we did not have time to go to the spa. Nothing: -), another time.

Tip for room selection: Good everywhere. Noise, sound and odor insulation are excellent. The main thing is not to be ashamed and ask about everything. . .
