Vacationing with family over the weekend. In the evening, an incident occurred - a chandelier (ceiling lamp) fell from the ceiling in the bathroom.
My daughter and I were once in the bathroom, at that moment, as if for no reason, a huge glass chandelier fell, and shattered into small pieces. It was lucky that my 3-year-old daughter and I were in the bathroom on a hill (although even fragments flew there), otherwise we would have been cut into pieces of glass by our legs, and if we stood under it, I’m afraid to imagine what would happen if it fell on the head.
The reason for this was - the fixture on the lamp, which holds the glass, came off.

On the next day of departure, no one at the reception even mentioned what had happened, nor apologized, and already when we asked what it was, and how the hotel is going to “compensate” this incident for us, and what security measures will be taken for guests to prevent further accidents with low-quality Chinese chandeliers, we did not receive an answer. It was only after our indignation that we were asked not to pay for the spa (the pool that we visited the day before with a bill of 300 UAH !!! ). Really?! ! That is, we almost broke our head (if a chandelier fell on the child’s head, I’m generally afraid to imagine it), we almost cut our legs, we were just lucky, and the answer is minus 300 UAH for the pool. I have never seen such rudeness and indifference to guests.
To the question "contact the management", the reaction is also 0, we will not do anything, the management supposedly gave such an order.
Sorry, of course, but if this is really the order of the management and this is how it treats its guests, then the Taurus Hotel is doomed to neglect and soon the loss of regular customers.
Of course, we are more than a foot in your Hotel. I am sure, judging by the reaction of the management and administration of the hotel, no replacement of these lamps will be carried out, which means that the risk in this hotel is that tomorrow or the day after tomorrow something will fall on your head or collapse.
Therefore, I do not recommend visiting this hotel, which has lost its regular customer. We went to this Hotel from the very opening and considered it good, but alas, time passes and hotels are obliged to maintain its original appearance, this also applies to the quality of service, repairs, and measures must be taken to update something periodically, check for and serviceability.
But unfortunately, nothing of this is being done, the rooms are sold at an inflated price that does not correspond to the service. The quality of food also deteriorated, and there was a chic premium Lviv beer, brewed and ordered specifically for some restaurants in the city of Lviv, including this hotel. Now there is nothing of this, the terrible Stella along the way is 2 times cheaper to purchase than the previous one.
Bathroom cosmetics were also good, now it’s not clear that they don’t even lather, the cheapest chemicals.
As a result, everything got worse. I think the management should take measures to improve the above points, otherwise people will soon stop coming to you altogether!
