We stayed at this hotel many times, both when arriving in Lviv and in transit on the way either from the Motherland or to the Motherland (moreover, the Lviv residents gave a tip, and they know a lot about this). Always an excellent impression. But on the last visit (and it was on Independence Day), we were also pleasantly surprised by the fact that when checking into the hotel, the young lady with the receptionist offered us a glass of cold champagne with various crackers, sweets, olives, lemons - these are establishments on the occasion of a public holiday. Interestingly, in some Ramada-Donetsk they also treated clients that day? ). Of course, it wasn't champagne that inspired me to write a review. And the fact that, in my opinion, this place has really a lot of advantages. About them - below.

DISLOCATION

The hotel is located in the suburban recreational village of Bryukhovychi, 11 km from the Opera Theatre. I don't like cities. Lviv, of course, is not Moscow, but personally it is more convenient for me to live successfully from the bustle of the city.
Moreover, the distance is ridiculous by the standards of large cities. Getting there is very easy if you have your own transport. If you are traveling without a car, transport links Lviv-Bryukhovychi will help you. Minibuses No. 8 and 22 go from the hotel itself. They get to the Zernova stop near the Lviv hotel in the center of Lviv (Opera view from the stop). Back you need to take the same minibuses, but already at St. Theodore Square. Ask the locals - it's three steps from the stop. "Grain", on the other side of the street. In principle, it is more convenient to move around. Since roads are constantly being repaired in Lviv, traffic in the center is almost always limited, and clever detours are definitely not for visitors. Plus, as always, the problem of parking is relevant. So think - choose - decide what is closer to you personally. You have to queue for the bus. That is, he came earlier - earlier and left.
But this is not at all critical, you can check the schedule of return flights in the minibus itself, and arrive in 10-15 minutes. before departure (after all, there are queues during peak hours, but the interval between minibuses is no more than 15 minutes).
The hotel is located almost in the center of Bryukhovychi. Nearby - a pine forest, silence, beauty. Sleep like in a sanatorium (tested for myself).
For those traveling by car to Poland, it will also be convenient that "Valentina" is located just on the way to the customs crossing Krakovets-Korcheva. And according to the testimonies of locals, there are just the smallest queues in this transition (compared to Sheginy). However, all this is easy to track online. And in terms of mileage, Krakovets is closer to Sheginei.
The reception in "Valentina" is round-the-clock, neither we nor the many acquaintances to whom the "appearance" was "surrendered" have ever had problems with the settlement. On the last visit, we arrived at about 12 noon, guests are accommodated from 14:00.

They came, announced that we had booked by phone, asked if it was possible to check in earlier. The answer was lightning fast and positive).
The disadvantages include the fact that there is no hotel in the booking database. Booking only by phone or email, which is not very convenient.

HOTEL
The exterior of the hotel is traditional Carpathian "broken" roofs, all in greenery. Not a very large hotel area, but not crowded. Nearby there is a pine forest, shops (a grocery store is located on the ground floor and is open around the clock, there are still several across the road), a pharmacy, a souvenir and gift shop with ordinary Chinese consumer goods, but there are various interesting things, touched, for example, printed cups. vyshyvanka.
Rooms: single and double rooms standard, junior suite and suite. We (since we only sleep in hotels, as a rule, we save on housing) have always lived in standards.
In them: a good bed with an orthopedic mattress (one large or two smaller ones), boiling white linens, a telephone, a plasma screen, a mini-bar (the last time it was not lucky - it worked, but somehow uncertainly, however, it didn’t matter to us ), condo, desk. There is a safe. There are slippers.
Well, in the bathroom - not a shower, but an oilcloth curtain. But it is very clean, everything sparkles and shines. Towels - 5 pieces per person. There are no robes. From the "soap-ryl" - shower gel and soap.
I think that in the suites - abruptly "furniture", but we are, as they say, "ordinary village people", so it does not matter to us. WiFi is available, the signal is sure, the password is with the administrator at the reception, the administrator's coordinates are on the telephone in the room, next to it on the bedside table are a pen and sheets of paper to write it all down.
In terms of price-quality ratio - 9 points out of 10. The last time we lived in a double standard for 250 UAH.

The room in which we lived on our last visit amused us with an architectural refinement in the form of a break in the roof, located above the desk. With my mini-borer, I easily avoided injuries, but a few deaf blows of my beloved forehead against this contraption when I got up sharply from the table diversified our quiet evening at Valentina : ).

STAFF
Even talking on the phone, you feel welcome and dear guest. And upon arrival, you are welcome as a Far Eastern relative with a suitcase of red caviar). No, seriously - everyone is very friendly, polite, attentive to your requests.

RESTAURANT
On the first floor there is an entrance from the street. And for hotel guests, to get to the restaurant, you need to go through the patio - in my opinion, this is a significant drawback in the cold season. There is also a summer terrace with an open hearth. But: the kitchen is simply beyond praise. No molecular frills "haute couture"!
No, just normal healthy tasty food: for example, cream soup with porcini mushrooms, banosh with sponder and cheese (the word “sponder” amused us a lot, I had to find out its meaning from the waitress girl, but I won’t say - I’ll keep the intrigue for those who who wants to try this banosh for himself, but for them, without unnecessary emotions, I note that it was the most delicious of all I have eaten so far). The portions are huge, be careful, one salad and one dish is enough for a naess - either the first or the second. The same story always happens to me here: at the beginning of breakfast, lunch, dinner, I want everything and more. Alas, then, to the accompaniment of all sorts of sarcastic remarks, the companion who correctly calculated his strength asks for an untouched, but also unfitting dish, to be allowed to take with me. They bring boxes without any problems and unnecessary questions.
The waitresses in embroidered shirts are cute, smiling, efficient. However, the restaurant is a must visit.

By the way, you can pay for breakfast upon check-in - then 30 hryvnias for 1 breakfast person will be added to the accommodation bill. Yes, of course it is more economical, but it seems to me more reasonable to order on the spot. First, there are plenty to choose from. Secondly, the names are very colorful, and reading the menu is a separate and completely free pleasure (or “attraction” in Lviv). Thirdly, if you stay in Valentina for 2-3 days, then you will eat the same amount of breakfast options. And even if you were already here last night, you will still be pleased with the next reading of obscure and funny local names of dishes, and their expectation, and their very appearance and taste. So delicious!

ENTERTAINMENT
I know for sure that there is billiards - on one of the visits we were accommodated in a room opposite the billiard room, it was somewhat noisy, but it did not bother us much. If you are more picky, you can immediately stipulate upon check-in that the windows of the room face the forest. And then - silence! But in the summer - mosquitoes, you need a fumigator.
There is a sauna with a swimming pool. I won’t tell you about prices - I’m not a “saunist” at all, so “call”. There is also table tennis and bike rental (! ).
A playground is equipped for kinders, and it is located in the field of view of the open terrace, that is, you drink beer, wine or coffee and watch your child (this option will be especially useful for dads: p).

CAR PARKING
A small one in the courtyard (locked, guarded; if I'm not mistaken, there is even video surveillance) and parking in front of the hotel - for those who "dropped in" to the restaurant.

SUMMARY
An excellent hotel: for an overnight stay on the road, for just living in Lviv-Bryukhovychi, for corporate events, seminars, and who knows what else. Just a great hotel.

PS: Bryukhovichi are interesting in themselves. The main asset is the pine-beech-oak forest. There is a beautiful lake with a sandy beach - in summer you can sunbathe and swim, in winter - a skating rink. At the entrance to the village - a monument to Pope John Paul II. And near Bryukhovychi there is a unique wooden Trinity Church of the 18th century. , consisting of two log cabins - this is a very rare type of two-chamber church. In Bryukhovychi themselves, you can still see the Church of the Entry of the Blessed Virgin Mary into the Temple. Vladimir Ivasyuk died in the local forest (the author of "Red Rue", "Vodograya", "I will go to the distant mountains ... "). When you drive along the highway to Bryukhovychi, the pointer is "The path to the place of death of V. Ivasyuk. " He was worthy.

I included a video with Ivasyuk in the review, his songs are very much in line with the "Lviv" spirit and organically convey it.
PS. PS. : In Bryukhovychi there are many hotels, guest houses and courtyards, restaurants and restaurants. But here we liked "Valentina" with some kind of atmosphere of its own, or something. Although in Bryukhovychi we have another favorite place.
