The best vacation is in Odessa!
Wonderful city, fantastically beautiful. The architecture is like in Paris, but everyone speaks Russian. If you are not rude, then you are treated with full respect. A huge number of cafes and restaurants. The menu is very diverse - from stuffed fish to English beer.
But in order to understand all this, you need to stop in the right place. "Comfort" is exactly what you need. Quiet center, even super delicate cats do not yell in the morning. Transport is not heard at all. To Deribasovskaya - 10 minutes on foot, to Moldovanka with its flea market (on weekends) also 5-10 minutes, to Privoz - 15-20 minutes. From Privoz you can return by taxi for a symbolic -20-30 hryvnia (so as not to drag bags).

Comfortel is not even a hotel, but apartments. The room has everything - stove, refrigerator and sink. In addition: a set of dishes, pots and pans. My wife and I bought fresh fish at Privoz - Black Sea flounder, stingray, live crayfish, shrimp and cooked them in the room. For comparison, I ordered a Black Sea flounder in a restaurant - for 100 hryvnias and they brought me a small piece. The next day, on Privoz, we took a whole fish for the same 100 hryvnia, but per kilogram. After dinner, you can go for a walk around the center. The most delicious confectionery on Lanzheronovskaya - there are no such in Moscow. Opposite the pub - the choice of whiskey is very decent. All varieties of my favorite Irish are presented in full. True, the prices are Moscow.
More about food - on Privoz you can buy delicious homemade sausages, and in a 24-hour store near the hotel you can buy milk - cottage cheese, sour cream, kefir, etc. - and you are provided with a delicious breakfast.
I would especially like to say about the owner of the hotel - Vladimir. If he did not speak Russian, I would have decided that he was a native of either Germany or Switzerland. It is almost impossible to imagine such an order in the post-Soviet space. Everything in the hotel works like clockwork, and Swiss. Bed linen and towels are changed every three days, beds are comfortable, mattresses do not collapse, air conditioning works like crazy, internet is fast, plumbing is new, tiles never fall off, etc. etc. In general, everything is great!
