After reading the gloomy reviews about Tokyo-Star on the Turpravda website, they were mentally prepared for the worst.
We approached the hotel for settlement by the beginning of the first day, a line of people who wanted to check in gathered at the reception. The receptionist answered that in the morning there was a mass eviction, and the rooms are being cleaned and you need to wait. They said that they booked a room in advance, but, as they understood, booking up to one place is not taken into account.
As a result, we waited about 30-40 minutes, settled in room 115 (a room with a window). The room is the same as in the photo, no noise was heard, neither from the neighbors, nor from the noise of trains or trams. The trains are far away - you can hear the noise from them - it's not real. I think about the noise is greatly exaggerated. It was stuffy at first, but they turned up the ventilation outlet, and the air flow went well. The window does not open. If it's summer, I think it will be hot in the room.
Conclusions: as a budget hotel, very personal. But keep in mind that in the room, except for sleeping and taking a shower, there is no other possibility of rest.
