We arrived on a business trip (4 people). There was a question about the choice of housing. Options for resolving this issue: 1) a hostel of one of the educational institutions (requested 45 UAH / day per person, and this is in the absence of a shower); boarding house from the railway (200-400 UAH per person per junior suite); 3) hotel. At the railway station, they saw an advertisement for "Tokyo Star". Called to find out if rooms were available. We arrived... And then there was a SHOCK...
I never thought that a hotel could be located in the hangar of a tram depot. . .
We overcame the shock... We went inside: quite clean, freshly renovated. We talked with the girl at the reception, got the key to number 301 for review.
We entered the room - the second SHOCK... There are 2 bunk beds in the room, the distance between them is 40-50 cm. From the door to the bed, cm 50. The room has a refrigerator, TV, clothes hanger, bathroom.

A couple of minutes away from shock. We examined the room again with a "sober look": a fresh renovation, laminate flooring, new beds, clean bedding, fresh towels, a bathroom with fresh tiles.
Cons: tiny room; pillow - one name (take your own - you won't regret it); the washbasin is tiny, the lack of a bedside table, wardrobe and other storage for things, the absence of a window (it was especially annoying after the second overnight stay - you go out into the street like from a basement); a crazy faucet in the shower (difficult to adjust: if you give less pressure - the water does not flow; if you give a little more pressure - you get a Charcot shower or a fire hose)
Pros: price (2 days cost 500 UAH, tobish 62.5 UAH/day per person), own bathroom with round-the-clock supply of cold and hot water, no time restrictions on entry / exit, convenient location (5 minutes walk from /railway station, bus station, "privoz", grocery stores, cafes, eateries, public transport stops; to the sea: on foot "waddle" - 30-35 minutes, tram + walk down Vice-Admiral Azarov Street - 15-20 minutes ).
Advice to potential clients: if you come to Odessa for 2-3 days and are very limited in budget - take a room without a window and turn a blind eye to all the minuses; for a longer stay, either take a room with a window, or shell out for a more expensive hotel.
