We went to the sanatorium from Poltava by shuttle bus. In the morning in Zenkovo, we managed to catch a bus that picks up the workers of the sanatorium from the bus station. Otherwise, it was necessary to take a taxi, for which they asked for 30 hryvnias (in 10 days they already wanted 50 hryvnias for this distance). We didn’t immediately figure out where to go - we sat and waited a little under the reception desk, which, despite already working hours, was closed. From there, we were sent to the duty nurse in the first building, and she sent us to the voucher sales office, allowing us to leave our suitcases with her (it was raining and it was difficult to carry them around). Having paid the money at the cash desk, we returned again to the first building, where we were accommodated in a junior suite for 260 UAH per person per day. The room is good - new furniture, cable TV, refrigerator, modern plumbing, extractor hood in the bathroom. But the room was a little damp, the plastic window was open for ventilation and did not close further (fortunately, it was not necessary). It was also disappointing that the room was too small. Then I found out that in the 6th building the rooms of this level are larger in area, besides, they have balconies. The room was cleaned almost every day. once they changed the bed (by the way, the bed for the junior suite is a bit old). Food in the dining room is generally normal, but depends on the shift (who cooks better), you can order dishes. We arrived on Friday and immediately got a sandwich with red caviar for breakfast. I especially liked the curd dishes. For dinner, every day they gave out a package of kefir (half a liter) for 2 and a half people, with which a problem may arise: if one person sits at the table (once I saw this), they put one package, for three we also received one package. Further on 5x at the table they received 2 packages of kefir. We didn’t take a lot of procedures: everything should be in moderation. I had 3 procedures on one day, 1 procedure and a pool on the other. Every day + tea + exercise therapy. By the way, one lady boasted that she had 9 procedures a day (in general, what kind of recovery with such a quantity can we talk about! ) Of the procedures, I liked sage-nutmeg baths, circular showers, exercise therapy. I didn’t quite understand how long the massage should last: it seems to be 15-20, but the last time I did it for 10 minutes and still had time to chat on the phone. The resort has a new good pool with "underwater massage", but the price is considerable - 30 UAH per hour to swim.
In the evening, they didn’t go to concerts and discos, they preferred to just roam around the territory or a little beyond. The music from the disco was quite audible in the room, which is not very good for people who are very sensitive to such irritants. I am glad that there are a lot of pines on the territory of the sanatorium, but some are dry and for some reason they are not removed.
During the rest there was enough rain, we went for mushrooms. Once we went for a walk to the beach in the evening, but the river was overgrown with duckweed. Despite some shortcomings and problems, the rest was pleasant.
