I had a rest with a friend from Samara for the May holidays in Skhidnitsa at the Kievan Rus Hotel. A friend, having heard a lot of different scarecrows about Western Ukraine and the attitude towards Russians here, agreed to go with great apprehension. Settlement took just a few minutes (this despite the fact that they were still settling in parallel and there were practically no vacant places on that date), at the entrance we were met by a very friendly young porter. We had a standard room for two: everything is included, very clean, comfortable (after watching the “Inspector General” program, they specially checked the dust on the shelves and, alas, they did not find it). Since we arrived at the hotel at lunchtime, we got lunch somewhere after 14.00. They thought they would feed with what was left, however, they were pleasantly surprised by the fresh dishes, especially the steam fish. They even asked the waitresses whether we were so lucky or this is a pattern. As it turned out later, the dishes are always prepared fresh and very quickly. Since the rest was not planned for a long time, we tried to cover everything at once, without a break. The pool is very decent, in the same place we were offered herbal tea (different). The hotel has its own pump room (it seems that there are about 6 springs). The doctor, to whom we were sent, having heard the Russian speech, immediately switched to Russian, which, without saying, surprised my friend. They were satisfied. The territory of the hotel, although small, but cozy. A magnificent view opened from the window and balcony of the room: on the mountain - an emerald forest, and below the village. We were satisfied, it is a pity that we stayed only a few days. We're going in the winter for 2-3 weeks.
