If there are no other options, then indeed, "it will roll with beer. " We were lucky - there was no party in the tavern on the night when we spent the night there, so it was quiet at night. The mattresses are very soft (personally, I was uncomfortable), the pillows are huge and uncomfortable. The staff is polite. We had a broken toilet cistern in our room, while they were having dinner they repaired it. The food is good in the tavern. I didn’t notice the cemetery next to the hotel - you can’t see anything from the rooms except the sky, because. they are in the attic floor, and when they were driving along the road, they did not particularly look at the landscape. The price per room is 300 UAH. unreasonably high.

We chose the Gulyai-Polye hotel, and, as it turned out, we made the right choice. The hotel is a 7-minute drive from Sofiyivka Park, the entrance to the park from the street. We drove into Uman along the Kyiv-Odessa highway. We turned right according to the scheme in front of the tank, drove into the village, drove all the time in a straight line. On the left is a wooden fence with green letters "Gulyai-Polye". The hotel has a shop and a restaurant. To be honest, when I read on the Internet that the hotel has a restaurant, fears about the prospect of not sleeping the night from Saturday to Sunday due to the wedding, which sang and danced, arose immediately. But on the phone we were assured that the restaurant in the rooms is not audible. It's true. This happens infrequently. The rooms are located on the attic floor, and although there is laminate flooring in the corridor, and women's heels periodically clicked on it, it was still very quiet. The hotel is new. In the room: satellite TV, new furniture, shower, hot water. On the first day when we arrived, they had not heated yet. But there was a warm blanket on the bed, and it was quite enough for us. And when the heating was turned on the next day (having delicately knocked on the door and politely asked permission to check if the batteries were working, and thanked (! ) when leaving), it became just a paradise...
Small disappointing trifles like the lack of disposable soap in the bathroom and one light bulb by the mirror and the presence of a slightly musty smell in the bed linen were more than compensated by the VERY FRIENDLY staff. In the morning, the ignition in the car went haywire, just before leaving directly for the beauties of Sofia. And now, when I’m heartbroken, I’m sitting and thinking that everything is gone, boss, and how everything will be now, and I’m voicing out loud various stupid women’s advice like “you need to quickly run for help, or even better, find some kind of service station... ” , and in response to these thoughtful remarks of mine, only the gnashing of teeth of the driver is heard, and so, at the most dramatic moment, an employee girl with the parameters of Kustodiev’s Venus who has long since taken Ukrainian citizenship and a guy approach the car. The girl with a laugh says: “We hear - it won’t start. Maybe push? " But, not having heard a firm “yes” from us, she immediately sends the lad who came with her for help in the person of another lad who understands in motors. And as soon as this other one approached, our Priora immediately started up like a pretty one.
Separately about the restaurant. We dined late in the evening after visiting Sofiyivka, and had breakfast on the day of departure. Delicious, big portions. I liked the fact that although there was no fried eggs on the menu, when I asked for fry for breakfast, they brought one like at home. And a thermos of boiling water was poured free of charge and hassle-free.
I gave the hotel a solid “four”, although, judging by the reviews on the Internet, there are not very many hotels in Uman, so it is likely that having experienced the comfort of other hotels, ours would have been generous with a five.
