The five days that we spent in this hotel were truly a real vacation for all of us. My wife and I have been looking for a long time for a place that is far from the noise of civilization, but at the same time all the necessary life is provided. Another long-standing desire of mine was to visit the Carpathians in winter, but not at a noisy ski resort, but somewhere higher in the mountains and in silence. And in the process of searching, I accidentally stumbled upon the website of this hotel on the Internet. After looking at the photos in my mind immediately arose "I WANT THERE". It should be noted that in all the reviews they give a very high rating and there is nothing surprising in this. As soon as we got there, everything became clear. Having crossed the threshold of the hotel, I had the feeling that I had come to visit people whom I had known for a long time. The atmosphere of home warmth and comfort just enveloped us and did not let go until we went down the mountain. On the day of arrival, we were still lucky with the weather: I was able to drive by car to the hotel itself, and then it started to snow and the descent was somewhat more difficult than the ascent (ascent and descent along the snowy serpentine of a forest mountain road is just an unforgettable experience). Now for some dry facts. As already mentioned, living conditions are fully provided, everything is clean and tidy, even perfect. The food was very tasty and varied. Didn't have to be bored. We rode saks down the mountain. There was more than knee-deep snow, so the walk to the neighboring peak turned out to be quite long and a lot of fun. Valery took us to the aviary, to the neighboring village of Selyatin. The daughter was just delighted. After all, there are not many places where you can stroke a real deer and feed a brown bear with cookies. I want to thank the hosts Valery and Natalia and their daughter Kristina for the unforgettable days that we spent at the Ark Hotel. We really hope to come back in the summer. After all, there are so many places where you can just walk and enjoy the beauty of the Bukovinian Carpathians.
