This autumn I managed to visit Zaporozhye. Once my parents lived there. According to them, I also lived there for the first couple of years of my life.
This city seemed strange to me. Time ago. . . and now you are walking along the longest avenue in Europe to the pride of the builders of the USSR - the Dnieper hydroelectric power station. There are even old, patriotic mosaics on the walls. I found a monument to the pioneers... And then a while ago - and I was on Khortitsa. This is perhaps the most famous landmark of Zaporozhye. Cossacks, equestrian theatre, the history of the Zaporizhzhya Sich and the floodplain of the Dnieper.
After this walk, I was so tired that I was very glad that I settled in the Dion Hotel. It is right next to Khortytsya and is located. By the way, living there was quite inexpensive. A cozy room without pretensions, not annoying staff, quite decent breakfasts and well-groomed territory. And, most importantly for me, the car can be left on the territory under supervision.
In general, I recommend the hotel
