We rested for 10 days, with a child of 5 years old, in general, we had a good rest, but, alas, I didn’t like something, I’ll tell you about everything in order. We arrived by car. Before the trip, I read reviews about the bad road and the removed asphalt, but what we saw far exceeded our worst expectations. I have never seen such a bad road in my life! The hotel is very nice, the owners are very friendly people. We had room 3 on the 3rd floor overlooking the playground. The room is very successful, the sun in the morning, no noise, the sea is "seen" through the trees. I am very glad that it was not a room overlooking the pool, and not a room with a shared balcony: in the first case, very loud music all day, in the second, a walk-through courtyard. There are no complaints or comments about the room, only the mountains of completely unscented bags with garbage in the corridor and the constant smell from the restaurant kitchen (apparently with an extractor fan) on the stairs and corridors of the hotel did not like. From the very beginning, we paid for complex lunches and dinners, and regretted. The portions are large, sometimes the food was very personal, and sometimes it was just inedible, especially the fish dishes!! ! Everything we ordered from the menu is delicious, but the prices are high. Salads 40-120 UAH, meat dishes 50-150 UAH, fish dishes 70-150 UAH. If you take a complex meal, then breakfast 40, lunch 80, dinner 60 UAH. The hotel has its own entrance to the beach, everything is clean, security is on duty, only their own people are allowed through. There are no umbrellas in the hotel so you need to bring your own. The beach is free, and after dinner, no one at all, the sand is soft, the sea is shallow and warm, just for the kids. The only thing is that around 17:30-18:00 the sun hides behind the mountains and it becomes sad on the beach. In general, if you do not go beyond the hotel and the beach, everything is safe and clean. But if you go for a walk, the picture changes from good to bad. Dirty, no, very dirty, there is nowhere to go, there is practically no lighting anywhere. If you stand facing the sea and go along the main alley to the right - dull or abandoned houses, mountains of garbage, a couple of meager shops, a couple of ugly cafes, at the end you go to a very beautiful, but very abandoned field with papers, at the end of which there is a lighthouse. Two gray horses live in a paddock next to a corn field, they can be fed with corn. Well, maybe not, but many have done it, including us. If you stand facing the sea and go along the main alley to the left, this is the only place where you can still walk. There is a sanatorium "Primorsky" (as we were later told, only shhhhh! cured patients of tuberculosis dispensaries rest there, I don't know if it's true or not). It is poor, but very clean, whitewashed trees, painted benches, pensioners sit on them, read the press. Just like in the good old days, only there is practically no light in the evening. Further along the alley behind the sanatorium there is a cafe called the bar "Provence", we went there in the evening for coffee, there are delicious homemade cakes. A little further is the market. There you can buy everything for the sea, fresh meat and fish (there is practically no choice), salted and smoked fish, fruits, vegetables, wine and souvenirs. There are several grocery stores. In all shops of the village the assortment is almost the same and very scarce. But "milk" in a sufficient set, kefirs, children's curds, yogurts, some kind of cheese, have always been. There are two roads leading from the market: one down to the beach, and the other into the depths of the village, it is very gloomy there, but if you still walk a little along the road and turn down the street (one of several) to the right to the end, go to the cliff and enjoy the stunning view of firth, spit and sea. That's actually all the entertainment that we found for ourselves in Kurortny. Oh yes! You could also go on excursions! But imagining this road again, and there is no way to bypass it, the desire to see Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, the fortress, or something else, immediately disappeared. In general, as a traveler who first came to Kurortnoye, everything was interesting to me, and even garbage and dirt did not prevent me from enjoying the beauties of this region, but for me, as a tourist with experience, much was not clear and not pleasant, those who were in Bulgaria on the same Black the sea will understand me.
