Magical rest in Zatoka
When you do not want long and exhausting flights, unpleasant acclimatization and spending all your savings in two weeks, a tourist is looking for something closer and simpler. This is how we did it. The choice settled on Zatoka, because it is quite far from large cities, but you can get there quickly by any mode of transport if you don’t have your own car. The most budget option is the train. The station is located in the very center of the village, from where the coastline is within easy reach. Shuttle taxis also run regularly, or there is always a driver who wants to take fellow travelers inexpensively. Among the many hotels and boarding houses, our choice was the Gloria complex, which includes many modest houses, several wooden, solid ones, and two houses with rooms. Its peculiarity is that it is located on the shore of the estuary, and if you are lucky, and the windows overlook the estuary, then in the morning and in the evening there is a stunning view. And even if no one bathes there, it’s also nice to just admire it. The territory of "Gloria" is quite large, it is a bit modest, there is no luxury, but it is always clean and the flower beds amaze with an abundance of flowers. Very cute cats live there, welcoming tourists after the beach. If you wish, you can order inexpensive three meals a day and enjoy a variety of delicious dishes in a modern, fully glazed dining room, which overlooks the estuary.
As for the sea, it is beautiful in every respect - relatively clean, the water warms up well, at times there were huge waves, on which both children and people of respectable age had fun riding. After all, everything is possible on the sea! So why not feel like a child again? The beach is made of shell rock, so it was great fun to look for whole, large shells, which you can then take home and put as decor in the original vase. And, of course, not a single beach in our country is complete without hot corn, cold cocktails, baklava, donuts, beer and shrimp. If you don’t have the strength to go to a stall or a shop, you can help out the merchants by overpaying a little, given their hard work. On the embankment, inflatable slides for children were installed with a pool below, where they, squealing with joy, went down and up a hundred times in a row. There were relatively few people, especially if you were not too lazy to get up early and come to the beach. Then there was a chance to take any place you liked. A couple of times they came to the beach at 6 in the morning, to admire the clear sea, to listen to its noise. After all, when there are practically no vacationers, a completely different view opens up. I recommend everyone to see the morning beauty of the sea.
For outdoor enthusiasts, there are various discos and dances. Restaurants with different cuisines are literally at every turn. Aromas of barbecue always emanated from them, fish was cooked on coals, fragrant pilaf languished in cauldrons. And all this was located on the alley leading to the sea in order to tempt the tourist to come in and taste this deliciousness. In the center of Zatoka there are several cinemas that show the latest in world cinema. But we were not interested. We were determined to take a break from the hustle and bustle and just relax, enjoying the sun, sea and salty air. Every day you could go to the market for fresh fruit. I still remember the huge, juicy and fragrant peaches that were sold there for next to nothing. We ate a lot of them then, we even managed to bring them home. There are also locals who bring their own grown vegetables and fruits. I was lucky to find excellent grapes, plums and tomatoes.
In general, the rest was a success! We went there two years in a row, and would have gone a third time, but only upon returning home it turned out that there were already three of us. So, whoever wants to replenish the family, I recommend a wonderful place where you can relax your body and soul, forget about the hustle and bustle, feel freedom and heavenly pleasure!
