We rested in Admiral as a family of 3 with a child in June 2010. We got an unexpectedly pleasant experience. We were set up for a budget vacation, judging by the low price of the tour, we expected a standard unobtrusive post-Soviet service. But they were pleasantly surprised right from the door. Our group, who arrived from Minsk by bus, was warmly greeted at the gate by hotel workers in nice uniforms, who took our things directly to the room (! ) In general, the selection and training of staff was very impressive - the team was young, friendly, it was nice to be among their smiles and observe zeal at work. Not only were the rooms cleaned daily, but the pool was also cleaned, which was always in perfect condition. Separate words deserve the state of the territory, which, perhaps, is not too extensive, but is well thought out and organized. A quiet shady alley with benches and a decorative waterfall, a bar near the pool with tables, sun loungers and umbrellas, a small playground - there was a place for everything. There were not many people yet (the beginning of the season), there were no problems with a place by the pool, there were 1-2 people, and sometimes no one. By the way, the pool is quite serious - its dimensions allow you to swim - the depth on one side is about 2m, and on the edge there is a small shallow area. In general, the territory of the "Admiral" struck with convenience, comfort and cleanliness. It must be admitted that it contrasted strongly with the not very clean and comfortable Iron Port, it seemed that entering the gate, you find yourself in a completely different city and even country. I was especially touched by the thoroughness with which the staff monitored the state of the rose garden, the cleanliness of the paths and stairs, etc. Not only was it impossible to imagine a leaf or piece of paper there, even the grooves between the paving tiles were cleaned!
The rooms are really quite small, but tastefully furnished. The furniture is completely new, freshly renovated (the workers explained that it is carried out every spring). There were sconces above the beds, and there were also enough shelves in the bathroom. I remember pleasant little things - the color of the walls is in harmony with the color of the bedspreads and curtains, bedside rugs and even towels. Everything is designed in such an unobtrusively nautical style, and it's nice that everything is thought out. In general, the administration of "Admiral" willingly made contact, listened to the wishes. As soon as we mentioned that it would not be bad to see badges with names on the uniform of the staff, in order to know who greets you so smilingly, whom you thank for cleaning, and who wishes "bon appetit", as literally the next day our wish was fulfilled , and numerous personnel became identifiable by the names on their chests.
Our other wish was even more exclusive - the fact is that our family does not consume meat and any other meat products. So, for the three of us they prepared separate (! ) For which many thanks to the chefs. I myself, as a hostess, know how difficult it is to provide such a variety of requests, but they somehow managed. Cutlets for all - we have a fish, all meat - mushrooms for us, etc. And besides, fresh pastries, local wine for dinner, fresh berries, vegetables, fruits, etc. The menu cannot be called exquisite - everything is in such a homely style, as if he had come to visit Ukrainian relatives. If it’s lunch, then you need borscht and a main course and a salad and some dumplings or buns and fruit - I’ll say right away that I didn’t manage to lose weight. In vain they tried to visit some cafe in order to appreciate the local cuisine, but to no avail - they could not find in themselves at least a hint of appetite between a hearty breakfast and a hearty lunch or a plentiful dinner.......... The maximum that We were able to afford ice cream and coffee at the exit.

Against this background, a very pleasant surprise was the presence of animators, about which we were not even warned at the travel agency (usually the opposite happens - you can’t always find everything that is promised, but here is such a nice bonus) A wonderful girl Natalya not only conducted aqua aerobics sessions in the pool, but also daily organized entertainment programs for children - costume contests, karaoke, creative and outdoor activities, did not allow small people to get bored, and parents could relax or lord in the bar, looking at this idyll.
The children were of different ages, but managed to become friends under her guidance and enjoyed this campaign very much. Fortunately, the territory is fenced and guarded by constantly vigilant guards, which contributed to parental relaxation
The Iron Port itself did not make much of an impression - not very clean beaches became crowded by July, the streets were somehow uncomfortable, there were only 2 exchange offices with queues, in general, civilization had already arrived, but had not yet won - there were traces of the battles of the local values.....
But the child is in a frenzy of delight - there is everything that is needed for children's happiness - a swimming pool, beach slides, trampolines and no straining. In general, if you want interesting exotic places and experiences, then the Iron Port is not at all what you need; and for a comfortable passive rest at an affordable price - "Admiral" is the most
