We just got back from vacation and thought I'd share my experience. I must say right away that the motive for relaxing somewhere on the Ukrainian coast was the desire to leave "vacation" money at home, and not to export it to other countries, as it has been for the last 10 years.
We lived in a 3-bed suite with a veranda, for 1740 UAH / per day. Therefore, I will describe the impressions on the basis of this. Because Living in an economy room, things would have looked different. Moreover, upon check-in, we were proudly informed that we are very glad that this year the level of vacationers is much higher. Therefore, I will write what needs to be improved, because. I would gladly continue to rest in Ukraine. And, I hope, my review will help correct the shortcomings in the organization of recreation in Kalin-Ke.
1. Number. Everything is as in the photo, the bathroom is tiny, a large bed, a sofa for a child. Cons - black mold in the shower cabin on the sealant, is it really so difficult to treat with whiteness once a week. Terrible pillows, knocked down and flat. Cleaned every day, but the change of towels for the week was only 1 time, after 4 days, it's no good. Spacious veranda, clothes dryer - everything is fine. Yes, another minus - there is no mirror in the room, except for a small one in the bathroom.

2. Territory. Compact, green, small pool, thoughtfully fenced with thujas from views. A good kids club judging by the reviews of those with small children. For our 12 year old it was boring there. Minus. VERY NOISY. We were looking for a quiet, cozy place with a veranda to sit in the evenings. In fact, from morning to dinner, the pool is filled with frolicking and screaming children. If you want to swim - you have an hour after breakfast and 15 minutes before dinner. Parents allow children to take mattresses, inflatable dolphins and huge circles into the pool (I'm not talking about those for kids). The result - two mattresses in the pool occupy a third of the area. The rest is occupied by children frolicking without parental supervision, you sit on a sunbed, they jump into the pool and pour you from head to toe, although there is a sign that it is forbidden to jump from the side. Then they start calling their parents, who are sitting in a room on the 4th floor. As a result, it is impossible to sleep during the day even with the doors closed. Okay, we adults in the next room could not put the child to bed. Although we really liked to relax away from the noisy city, and not in the "children's camp". In the evening the pool is closed, but the animation starts. For her, there is a kids club and a basketball field aside from residential buildings, but animators take children throughout the territory. As a result, the children either completed the quest tasks under our terrace, or played some games around the pool, 3 meters from our room, the animator screams like a coach on the football field. Yes, if you have small children, you are used to such noise, but you have to decide something with the daytime sleep of the children. We have an adult child and it was possible to sit on the veranda only after 9 pm, because. very noisy. It turned out to be such a rest in the middle of the "pioneer detachment".
3. Nutrition. There are a lot of reviews about good food and bad about that there is little meat. I work as a culinary expert and imagined about what they should be fed. I will say this - the usual food "from the school cafeteria. " Not bad. 90% meat - from chicken. The daughter jokingly considered how the chicken was dismantled and what was "left" to eat next. Food does not differ in economy and luxury rooms, so the reviews are different. BUT. Those who can afford a room for 1740 UAH per day do not eat cheap vermicelli and poor quality buckwheat at home. And they are not ready to eat it at such a cost of the room. Make separate meals for rooms of this class, it doesn’t cost anything to allocate a table area in the dining room and feed a little differently. Regarding "little meat" - I count calories and BJU. There is a terrible shortage of protein, although giving omelettes / scrambled eggs in the morning instead of quickly digestible milk semolina costs nothing.
It was funny that tea is poured from teapots, the school canteen, not otherwise. For some reason, very rarely the table was served with table knives. Obviously cutlets, sausages, chicken legs had to be eaten with your hands. The dishes had to be cleaned up after themselves, it seems not hard, on the other hand - we arrived in the suite.
On the 2nd floor there is a cafe with smiling girls, coffee, tea, ice cream, etc. Beer is cheaper than buying bottled beer, there is good whiskey, you can order barbecue. The child was "fed" there.

4. Sea. Before him, 5 minutes, we thought to go by car, because. carried an umbrella and a double mattress, but walked. The sea is clean, there are few people. We walked along the beach in both directions, but it is quite dirty and crowded towards the village. In the direction of the reserve, they stand with tents and the entire coast is in plastic glasses and bags. So the beach is very good. The sea is crystal clear and quiet, then the waves. Jellyfish were all the time. And, of course, baklava, honey tubes.
5. Staff attitude. Generally no good. First, you can't pay by card. Now there are devices for acquiring even in the markets from sellers. 20 square centimeters on the table under it can also be distinguished. We were not warned that the payment was only to the Privat card, so while the transfer between banks took place (and this is 3 banking days, while we stopped after the operating time), the administrator ran after us with a disgruntled face. The benefit was the transfer of hours through 4. The maids also walked with disgruntled faces. It was like they were doing you a favor by removing it. We left - not that they didn’t wish us a good road and smiled, but simply didn’t offer to come to rest yet.
General impression. Perhaps much would have seemed much better if not so noisy. For a budget holiday - even good, but for deluxe rooms, not a small cost is enough - bad. Over the past 2 years, we have traveled to most of the tourist places in Ukraine and I compare it with the level of service in Ukrainian hotels, although our family also has considerable experience in traveling and relaxing around the globe. I wish the owners the development of their business and improvement of service, and vacationers - a good rest.
