We went to rest with two families, the choice of housing and the work of swarming the Internet was shifted to my shoulders and in vain... As a result, we examined a bunch of apartments there in July 2008. and I can rightly write a general report about them. If it is useful to someone - I will be glad, if someone has a different opinion - do not read.
It turned out a lot, for the lazy and for those who have never been there, I will break it down in parts:
1. About boathouses in general - this is definitely a new trend in recreation in the private sector, on the seashore. There is nothing so close to the sea in big cities, from what I saw in Alushta, Gurzuf and Yalta for sure. The streets of the private sector of these cities, especially near the sea, are old and depressing in appearance, which cannot be said about the Dolphin boathouses.
2. About boathouses "Dolphin" - a very good place with a protected area, free beach, playground, shop, cafe, etc! And most importantly - healing air, I have never slept so sweetly anywhere! At what you get enough sleep very quickly - waking up full of strength and energy, believe me and check! I found these boathouses with my husband, as in the previous review from etn on the Internet, only we were less lucky.
3. About owners of housing and housing: how many boathouses, almost as many different owners. Of all the advertisements of "Dolphin", and there are not many of them, in vain they chose the "Owner" option with extensive experience in renting and different price categories of apartments. The owner, (forgot his last name), Tatar-Georgian-Khachek nature. He rents a bunch of different dead and not very apartments, probably from the very foundation of the boathouses (hence the earned prestige, arrogance, the ability to throw and sell), knows all the local ones who constantly drag clients to him in batches, works in a close-knit team with them. It seemed to us the main thing - in the first block (on the right side, when viewed from the sea) and overlooking the sea. We ordered for 2 weeks, for 4 people and a child + car.
The price in July for him, from what we were interested in, was from 800 UAH. For everyone. There was no air conditioning, no repairs, the apartment was worn out by constant surrenders and without refreshing repairs for a long time, the sleeping places were also killed, and obviously from the cheapest category, everything was done with the taste of the Sovdepiya, but cleaned and with a sea view + satellite TV. After living for a week, and relaxing, the news came - regular customers came to the owner! We are unceremoniously evicted to a garage that has been overworked for housing, also terribly shabby. Naturally, it also costs a lot of money - the closer to August - the more expensive! We were "delighted"!
After living in new housing for 1 day (more precisely, after spending the night), we went to look for something else. Requirements: - the same place - a different owner! Having found a distributor on the track, we went to look. It turned out that there are options !!! , the worst and most worn out of them are the local bigwigs - monopolists, who only live by this from year to year, there are loners - as a rule, better quality, but not always, but almost everyone is busy. As a result, we chose housing cheaper and 100 times cheaper. better - just lucky, because people could not come to our place! Although we spent a whole day of vacation and a lot of nerves on it, everything worked out well, the most annoying thing is that I saw ads for renting a new apartment I found on the Internet when I was looking for... and made the wrong choice - that means it was necessary... : (
4. About "Blocks" the territory can be conditionally divided into the left side and the right side. Each of them consists of long buildings standing one after the other, completely different or similar in layout and quality. Looks like there are only 4 lines.
5. About the “First block of the right side”, when viewed from the sea (where they rested for the first week)! ” - Of course, I have not seen all the apartments, the best of them do not give up, wealthy owners make them only for themselves. The building is the oldest (figuratively speaking, because the whole cooperative is 10 years old, no more), but the worst thing is the entrance! There is no such thing anywhere in other buildings - he is behind! That is, getting to the middle options for apartments is twice as long as to the apartments of the 2.3 line, which are the first near the path to the sea. Plus terrible stairs, especially on the 3rd and 4th floors.
6. About the Second Block, on the right side, if you look from the sea, they didn’t really look, I also didn’t like the entrance, it’s like (I don’t remember exactly), both in front and behind, but of those offered to us, they were only with a long dumb corridor at the back and not very comfortable.
7. About the Third block - I didn’t like it either, it looks cheap and uncomfortable, we pay a lot - we want comfort. In short, we rejected the entire right side (3 blocks on the right side, if viewed from the sea).
Disclaimer!!! : I do not want to offend ANYONE, I speak only about the apartments I saw, and about our general impression, most likely there are also a lot of nice and comfortable things there - we just didn’t see them!

About the Best boathouses and sea view: Most of all I liked the buildings themselves - blocks and apartments, in the first, second and third lines on the left, (4 are under construction) when viewed from the sea. There are simply amazing apartments of modern design and interior, absolutely at different prices and quality. The price is formed by the distance from the sea, repair, furniture, air conditioning, kitchen equipment. Closest to the sea (up to 5 minutes everywhere), the first and last apartments in the blocks, they are located near the aisles and paths to the water. In one of these buildings we stopped.
I don’t know, though, where they found a sea view in the previous review in block 3 and 2 ! ! Floor? Something doesn't look like the truth.
In the blocks of the first line, you can see the sea from 2.3, 4 floors, for the first floor, it is mainly blocked by trees.
In the second blocks, on the left side, you can see the sea 100% from the 3.4 floors, I don’t know about 2. You can see it because the buildings are located on a slope.
In the third block, from the second floor, you can’t see anything for sure, from the 3rd I don’t know, but from the 4th floor there is a hundred pounds.
What is striking is that starting from the 2nd block, the sea view is much better, since they are higher, you can see Alushta, Semidvore, the bear mountain. The view of night Alushta is especially amazing. So the blocks of the first line are resting!! ! overlooking the crowded beach 2 meters away, the noise of cafes and tourists.
We were also in the fourth block under construction - my husband and I climbed the construction site for research purposes (the building is almost finished, but it was without interior decoration). It should be finished in 2009. There are the most floors, the distance from the sea is also the most. But we were very interested in the building for 2009 or 2010, if we go. The price should be cheaper, a steep climb up to 10 minutes does not scare us. From the last 2-3 floors just an unforgettable view!! ! From the first it is naturally not! But at the top - super, definitely the best in the entire Dolphin! The matter remains again for decent owners and the quality of finishing of apartments. Although, to be honest, with such proximity to the sea and the heat, I don’t really see the need to look at it from the balcony, maybe the first day, then you just don’t notice, but the apartments are so expensive! So here you need to think individually....
8. About nutrition: in one phrase - no problem! We bought semi-finished products and fruits at the Furshet. On the territory at the entrance to the boathouses, there was a tent with fruits and vegetables, there is everything you need, but it is cheaper in the central market and in the Furshet. There are also food stalls in both directions when walking outside the Dolphin. The store also has a lot of everything you need, food, alcohol, cigarettes, household products, ice cream, etc. There is only one cafe in Dolphin, but you don't need more. They cook very tasty, the prices are lower than on the waterfront. A big plus is that the cafe is owned, or leased, by the local director of the base, or whatever they call it. That is, everything is 100% fresh and of high quality, not like in the shamans of the Tatars on the embankment. Kebabs were taken 5 times, they were both very tasty, and so-so - overdried, they are not prepared by the main chef, maybe this is the problem. My friends and I really liked the individual cocktails - the normal ratio of alcohol, do not be greedy! I advise you to try from food: dishes from rapans (about 15 UAH, not 30, as on the embankment), mussels, sea fish. Very tasty fried red mullet, and different meat options. Mushrooms in a pot - class! Delicious dishes "Bomb" and "Blue Lagoon". The choice is large, so it is unrealistic to go hungry there.

About the beach: its own, free (and not from 5 to 20 UAH / as everywhere in Alushta, where there is often a mandatory arena for a sunbed from 15 UAH / - count the entrance for 4 adults + 1r !! ! horror) In the "Dolphin" it is close, clean, small pebbles. Too bad it's not very wide. Half of the beach line with awnings and terraces, there are fewer people there, very nice, but the descent into the sea is through small stairs. In general, in July there is enough space for everyone and without problems, you can also go to the beaches of the Eureka base - about 7 minutes. I also advise fishing and boating - they sail to the cafe itself, by the way, part of which is above the water : )!
10. Conclusion: Everything seems to be from the descriptions! The general conclusion is a solid 4+! As for the private sector, everything is 5 + It's worth the trip! But carefully with the choice, if not apartments, then the owners. We took the phone of the hostess of the second apartment (everything was 100% arranged) - but we won’t give it to anyone, not out of greed, but out of our selfish interests, we’ve already found it - we don’t want it anymore! CRIMEA IS FORCE! RELAX IN UKRAINE!
