For many years I did not rest in the Crimea, and now I decided to choose the Crimea again. The holiday fell on the month of April, not yet the beach season, but the main thing in the rest was still treatment at the Burevestnik sanatorium in Evpatoria. per day 200 UAH. On the site of the sanatorium out of season, the cost of one day is offered out of season 330 UAH, in season it is even much more expensive.
I got to the place of rest by train without any problems. From the railway station from the bus station, which is located next to the sanatorium, I drove a fixed-route taxi. The taxi stop is located next to the resort. The fare is 2.5 UAH. A tram stop is located 600 meters from the sanatorium, the fare is 1.5 UAH. All Ukrainian "beneficiaries" and all veterans of the CIS war travel for free. Trams run regularly. More than 5 min. no need to wait for the tram. The sanatorium is located in the sanatorium - resort area, where basically only sanatoriums, boarding houses and rest houses. There is practically no residential area. The administrator immediately escorted me to the dining room. ended lunch, where he had lunch, and after that immediately without any problems and very quickly settled in the room of the main building.
The room was double, but a bit cramped for two, while the room has a very spacious loggia. The appearance and equipment of the room is in a deplorable state, which has not seen a real repair and refurbishment for a long time. The room had a TV, a refrigerator and a shower combined with a bathroom. At the same time, I got a shower and a refrigerator thanks to a neighbor who had previously rested there several times and had "connections" and settled in with me. The TV was also brought into the room at his request. If you pay officially 20% of the cost of the tour, then settle in a junior suite with a shower.

The room was practically not cleaned during the rest, all cleaning consisted only in the daily removal of garbage from the urn. The bed was changed every 5 days. Bed linen in a satisfactory condition, 3 towels were issued. There is a shared shower room in the basement.
The next day after checking in, I visited a general practitioner who prescribed procedures for the diagnosis of hypertension: herbal tea, bath, aromatherapy, "salt cave", psychotherapy, massage of the collar zone. There are many other procedures, in particular "mud", etc. There is also modern diagnostic equipment. As for the procedures, vacationers are in for a "surprise". Since 2012, procedures have been prescribed for only one diagnosis, indicated in the health resort card. If you want to get procedures for other diagnoses, those are paid. For example, if you want to get a massage of the entire back, and not just the collar zone, you need to pay extra 60 UAH to the cashier. in one session, i. e. only 600 UAH. and it is not the most expensive procedure. At the same time, it is easy to agree with the personnel dispensing procedures on their vacation for half the price in cash. Procedures are released by the staff with high quality and in good faith, regardless of whether they are paid or not.
The city has a pump room of local mineral water. Approximately four stops by tram to the stop "Hotel Ukraine". The well has been operating since 1976. It works until 18:00.
In the sanatorium 3 meals a day. Meals are the same as in a normal working "Soviet" canteen. The menu is customized, you can order something from 2-3 dishes. It can be noted as positive in the diet of daily fruits: apples, oranges, bananas. One day, a cockroach was crawling on a plate at a neighbor's table. On the demand to replace the portion, she was immediately replaced with the explanation that they had recently poisoned the cockroaches in the kitchen and they crawled out into the dining room. The next day I also saw a cockroach crawling on the floor at the next table. There were no more such surprises or I was not attentive.
The resort is actively undergoing renovations, but only suites and junior suites are being renovated - these rooms after renovation already have a decent look.

The territory of the hotel is small, well-groomed, a lot of greenery. There is a children's playground. In the resort at the reception there is a library and a reading room with free Wi-Fi, which also "takes" in the lobby and some rooms even on the 3rd floor. Also in the resort there are chess, tennis, billiards. True, billiards is already "worn out". There is also a cinema room. Films are shown every other day. There is a disco.
At the reception there is documentation, where on the stand there is a certificate of the Crimean Tourism Association that the sanatorium "Burevestnik" corresponds to a +2* category hotel. I think that the officials of this organization need to visit +2* hotels in Turkey and Egypt, where in hotels of this category 100% of modern rooms have a TV, shower, refrigerator, air conditioning, daily housekeeping, etc. There is no such thing in the Burevestnik sanatorium, well, maybe in some rooms, and therefore Burevestnik is a 1 * hotel, no more.
From the sanatorium to the sea 500 m. The beach of the sanatorium is even further. I did not swim in the sea, it was not yet the season. In the season, you can’t freely approach the sea, everything is fenced off by sanatorium beaches. So you can wander along the sea itself only out of season.
The sanatorium sells excursion tours to the sights of Crimea. The fare is 110-140 UAH. + visited objects 30-50 UAH. for each total, one excursion is approximately 300 UAH. from a person.
In Yevpatoria itself, I visited the aquarium, I really liked it, modern, a lot of different exotics, the cost of an adult ticket is 50 UAH, a child ticket is 25 UAH. Good local history museum. Tickets are inexpensive, there are many discounts on ticket prices. A new tourist route "Little Jerusalem" has recently opened in the city - this is in the old city. Within a radius of 500 meters there are 9 temples of 6 different confessions. You can visit the national Tatar coffee house in the old tower "Gate of the Wood Bazaar", where you can offer tea and coffee "oriental" with a huge selection of oriental sweets. Expensive. I also advise you to visit a small cafe "Karaman" of the national Karaite cuisine, located near the Karaite kenas. Good food, good service. No alcohol. Allowed to take with you. The tables are almost never empty. Visited by both tourists and locals. A full meal: first, second, appetizer, salad, dessert, coffee cost 140 UAH. from a person. Delicious.

I liked the rest. Rest is not to be missed. However, if I had to pay 100% of the cost of the voucher for a vacation "by the sea", then I would probably choose another place, but if I were to be treated, I think it's worth it. A discharge summary is issued only upon request. I was very pleasantly surprised that there is no humiliating "Soviet" procedure for "giving up a number" upon departure.
Have a good rest, incl. and in the sanatorium "Burevestnik".
