Rested in the hotel "Delmar" in Zaozerny family - 4 people. (children 4 and 13 years old).
We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the 2nd floor. I really liked the room. A living room with a spacious sofa bed with a large kitchen area, a cozy bedroom, a spacious comfortable bath. TV was great, lots of satellite channels. WI-FI worked fine during the day, but in the evenings, when people gathered in the rooms, it was rather weak.
The choice of the hotel was approached very seriously, because. Our youngest son is very allergic (pre-asthma) and, in general, the trip was planned based on his needs, especially since this is his first trip to the sea. We chose "Delmar" and did not regret it at all. Already upon arrival at Delmar, I went through many private boarding houses and hotels in Zaozerny (purely out of curiosity), which I read about on the Internet. In many places (for ethical reasons I will not name names), the real picture was very different from the photo from the Internet (the size of the territory, rooms, living conditions, etc. ), i. е. promotional photos were taken from a favorable angle. In "Delmar" the picture is fully consistent with reality. The territory of the hotel is not very big, but it is incredibly comfortable there. You can feel the hand of a good designer - well-spaced recreation areas, food, swimming pool, economic part. A constant feeling of freedom, space and, at the same time, solitude. And not only children liked cartoons in the fresh air in the evenings, but also adults watched them with pleasure. The pool is fabulous. Always clean, it is very competently located to the side and on a hill, very comfortable and comfortable sun loungers. Cozy gazebos with the ability to hide and retire, in which you can so conveniently sit down with a cooked barbecue, or even just go out and eat in the fresh air. MMM... a fairy tale !! ! The owners of the hotel - Vadim and Lena - are wonderful people. Girls Lera and Diana are kind, attentive, sympathetic. All requests and wishes are immediately fulfilled. Diana is an excellent cook, my children said that they didn’t eat tastier porridge anywhere (this is despite the fact that it’s very difficult to feed my little one, but he ate all the porridge every day! ). When choosing a menu, all the wishes of customers are taken into account, and dishes are easily replaced, you just need to say your “Wishlist” in advance (the menu for the next day is posted in the evening).
Of the minuses, in our opinion, probably the most basic is very rare room cleaning (1 time in 5 - 6 days is not enough). About lunches: as I already wrote, the food is delicious, breakfasts and dinners are excellent portions and the ratio: price - quality - portion size is normal, but lunch portions, in our opinion, are very small. This is actually a ladle of soup and a small portion of the second with salad + bread. My husband and 13-year-old son did not eat enough, and we were forced to dine elsewhere. It is also required to repair the playground, update the assortment of toys, update / add (preferably the same) sun loungers. I would like the water in the shower to drain faster, and not accumulate a soapy puddle under my feet for a long time. On the balcony, I would really like a partition between the rooms, so that there is a sense of privacy in your own territory. But these are all small details that I think will be easily eliminated.
Summing up, I’ll say: I don’t recommend childless couples for relaxation who want drive, fun, noisy and long feasts in the evening (so that there are no problems when other vacationers start asking for silence and making comments), and in the mornings I want a long quiet morning sleep, which impossible, because the kids wake up early, and from 7 in the morning they start playing and making noise (which is natural) on the street.
And for families with kids of any age - this is only here!! ! The unique dry climate of Zaozerny, the purest azure shallow sea with huge sandy beaches, a cozy, well-groomed hotel area, a magnificent swimming pool, comfortable living and dining conditions, caring and attentive staff - all this will allow you and your children to rest, relax and gain strength and health for a year forward!
