We decided this year at the end of June to relax with a child in the Crimea with comfort . It seemed that by booking a hotel, plane tickets, transfer in advance, we secured ourselves from unforeseen disappointments and unpleasant surprises, but that was not the case....
So everything is in order: the hotel was chosen carefully, the main criteria were: not a cramped sandy beach with umbrellas and sun loungers, a comfortable room with air conditioning, a clean restroom, with an additional sofa for the baby and non-Soviet bedspreads on the bed. Since it was the beach and the sea that were in priority, the South Coast hotels were not entirely suitable due to terrible reviews about crowded pebble beaches. Quite by accident I found a good hotel "Bombay" near Feodosia. The main feature of the hotel was a children's focus: animation, a children's room, labyrinths, etc. Everything on the site is very appetizing, so we went without hesitation. In fact, the biggest disappointment was the remoteness of your own beach from the hotel itself, moreover, you need to walk along hot concrete slabs of the countryside... the most unpleasant impressions . . you still try to endure the first days, in the end it’s simply unbearable to go to the beach. The beach is not bad, but the entrance to the sea is terrible: almost the entire coast is covered with nasty algae, and at the bottom there are sharp boulders that you can get hurt like that . . The children have cleaned a narrow path to enter the sea and all the crowd of children are splashing there. The sea was barely warm for a couple of days, and then +12 for almost the whole week, just like in winter, it is clear that it is impossible to even get your feet wet.
So back to the Bombay Hotel. Pros: good rooms, we were in a junior suite for 3 with an extra bed for a child (although understatement can be traced everywhere), a large double bed, a sofa unfolds, so there is a lot of space; air conditioning, TV, shower, toilet. From the pros: nice staff, cleanly cleaned, bedding and towels are changed quite often. There is always a smile on the face, any request is fulfilled and, most importantly, without the feeling of “favor”, which is so characteristic of the Ukrainian service. On the plus side: food is of high quality, it’s not scary to give a child, adult portions are huge, we took children’s. Although there are also disadvantages in terms of nutrition: the lack of fish, not even once at the sea in 10 days! there was nothing fishy and, in my opinion, very few vegetables. The menu is riddled with meat and potatoes, which is not good. The second minus is very expensive food, restaurant prices, and the menu is not balanced. But thanks, at least not mayonnaise food, as in almost all local gendelyks. Further, the animation is below average, the program was focused more on older children, while the little ones had to be content with toys and their mother. It is clear that it is not so easy with children 2-3 years old (I say so confidently, since I myself professionally do this), the animator girls lack professionalism. But again, it's better than nothing. Now the cons: a huge minus - the remoteness of the hotel from the beach, the small territory of the hotel, the "non-childish" entrance to the sea. Everything would be fine if not for the nasty little things, cat. distracted from rest, not allowing you to relax: sheets are smaller than the bed: waking up in the morning you just sleep on the mattress, and the lump of sheets is tangled in the corner of the sofa; cheap "sanding" toilet paper - and all this in a room for $100-120 per day! Considering all the pluses and minuses: the hotel is not bad, but we won’t go there anymore and it’s not even the hotels that’s to blame, but the general infrastructure: the downtrodden countryside, the vacationers are Russians with an income below the average, who came for a cheap vacation, actively clinging to your umbrellas (cat . free only for Bombay customers, which is another plus).

An unpleasant aftertaste remained after the unjustified high cost of fruits (everything is 2 times cheaper in Kyiv) and taxi prices (fortunately, I ordered in advance, having monitored all prices in advance, but the Simferopol-Feodossia trip cost like a low-cost plane ticket).
I was very pleased with the road, namely the low-cost flight with Vizer - simple, comfortable and very fast - with children, that's what you need. You just need to book in advance, then it's very cheap.
In general, in spite of everything, the energy of the sea is most impressive - you go to the beach for hours at 6-7 pm, discard the sun lounger with an umbrella, take a towel and right on the sand, the sea rustles - beauty, you can lie and breathe this beauty forever, you just merge with nature!! ! Is it worth it to turn a blind eye to all the small and rather big troubles - decide for yourself, and we will definitely plan our next vacation somewhere over the hill
