Horror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate Artek!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. NO COMMUNICATION WITH CHILDREN
Upon the girl’s arrival at the camp, we tried for a whole week to call her on her mobile phone, but to no avail - the phone was all the time outside the coverage area until she herself made herself felt. It turned out that in the so-called "comfortable" houses there are sockets, but they are non-working and no one is going to repair them. Children charged their phones where and when necessary. In the houses they have phones, in principle, do not catch. One gets the feeling that children are specially isolated from their parents in order not to give them the opportunity to complain... And, believe me, even the most unpretentious children have something to complain about... see. Further
2. NO HOT WATER

Clause 1 of Appendix No. 2 to the Agreement "Accommodation and Meals" that "Cold and hot water constantly" is clearly violated is a blatant lie.
Due to the lack of hot water, children are forced to wash under cold water, including their heads, which is fraught with a cold for girls. When complaints were received from them, the counselors were told that "hardening" would only benefit them, although everyone knows that they are hardened not by stupidly washing under cold water, but by a certain regimen, which they naturally did not develop, since they simply do not have conditions for living, not to mention "comfortable" (again, clause 1 of the Annex to the contract). As a result, all the children in the camp fell ill and some of them seriously. The queues at the first-aid post are endless, my sister stood for 2 hours to get to the doctor - probably, this is saying something. If a child just has a sore throat, he has a choice: either go to the “isolation” with severely ill children, or endure / wait until their condition becomes neglected, because. the opportunity to take a cup of tea, except at the time allotted for eating, is not provided to children.
3. VIOLATION OF THE "BALANCED NUTRITION MENU" DEVELOPED BY THE SRI OF HYGIENE AND NUTRITION
Again, paragraph 1 of Appendix No. 2 to the Agreement "Accommodation and Meals" is violated:
"Five meals a day according to a balanced children's menu, developed by the Research Institute of Hygiene and Nutrition, with a food selection system. "
Firstly, the food is clearly not prepared from fresh products, because. all the children in the camp felt nauseous, and some even vomited. Secondly, what can we say about the choice of dishes, which was only on a piece of paper in the contract; ), if in the summer during the season of cheap fruits (July-August) in the Krasnodar Territory “only apples ripened”, the children did not see other fruits, how could it not paradoxically.
BUT in the territory of the camp BUSINESS ON STARVING CHILDREN is very well established!! ! For example, ice cream is SOLD to them at 100 rubles per piece, and small portioned juice at 35 rubles per piece.

Perhaps that is why the camp strongly recommends giving children additional money, so as not to deprive the camp administration of the opportunity to once again fill their already stuffed wallets.
4. LACK OF PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITIES AND ACCOMPANYING EVENTS
And finally, it is a shame to say that the camp does not fulfill its primary function - the intellectual and physical development of children. I think many parents will share my point of view that children are sent to the camp not in order to get rid of them, but in order for them to undergo the so-called preliminary preparation for adulthood, learn to be independent, make decisions, understand what disciplines they have there is a tendency to feel what a team spirit is, and of course, to get a school of physical training.
Nothing of what the Eaglet used to be in terms of organizational measures is left, except for its own name.
For the entire stay in the camp, the children were offered only paid excursions: about one free excursion included in the price of the permit (a tour of Krasnodar, Novorossiysk and Tuapse), and there was no question, and this despite the fact that, for example, the city of Tuapse is only 45 km from the camp.
I will not list all that endless list of events that were included in the contract, you can read about it on their website (their advertising is what you need! ), I will only name what actually took place:
1. Daily rise somewhere around 8 am to exercise. Moreover, this is not done as in our ideas - in an organized, friendly way to children, with a pedagogical approach. The counselors are basically all sorts of rabble whose purpose of being in the camp is limited only to having a great time (I think they should have no complaints). Of course, waving arms and legs is difficult to call charging  )

2. Bathing in the sea - once a day for 15 minutes! To which the question was asked to the representatives of the camp - to explain the reason for such a short stay of children at sea. The explanation was as follows - that after the cyclone the sea is cold, so doctors do not allow to stay in the sea for a long time. On the spot, the children were given a different explanation - that "there are too many of you, and there are not enough of us to follow you. " The sea, in fact, was warm as milk... Thus, lies on lies....
3. Once we rode a "banana" attached to a boat.
4. Once we went to the water park (a separate fee - as agreed in advance)
5. Once we went on a so-called hike. Of course, you can’t erase the words from the song, the nature there is wonderful, so the children had good impressions of the trip, if it weren’t overshadowed by one important, as I think, circumstance. During the trip, a picnic was never organized, at least with frail sausages - for children it would be a joy to sit by the fire, sing songs. There was nothing of what we imagine is a hike! But around them swarmed with tourists comfortably nestled around fires with seductive smells from barbecue... why did they have to go there at all ?? ? For them to choke on saliva? ! Those are kids! ! It's just getting scary! No guitar songs, nothing! Although, I think, if our children were properly organized, they themselves would sing and dance well. My sister, for example, is excellent, plays the guitar, etc. , but, unfortunately, the boxes with the talents of our children will remain unopened during their stay in such camps. And it is so important for them to reveal themselves to the world and to each other!
6. Psychological training. After the counselor asked the children whether they had questions or any problems, the sick, emaciated children in their usual infantile form cast their voices, to which the counselor “bursted, ran away” and called for help from a psychologist, who unequivocally let the children know that it makes no sense for them to complain to the counselor, tk. it has nothing to do with it (in this he is partially right, because the counselors, of course, are not responsible for the living conditions), and that if they want to complain, then let them turn to the authorities.
