In the month of May, from 8 to 21, we rested and were treated with a child (12 years old) in the sanatorium "Gurzufsky". From the rest there were only positive impressions that I want to share. I warn you right away, my review is for those who love outdoor activities, but are still short of money.
Let's start in order. . .
On May 8, we arrived in Simferopol, before we even had time to look around, taxi drivers began to offer their services. For 50 UAH. per person will be brought to the sanatorium. Having experience of communicating with Crimean taxi drivers, we still went to the bus station, which is located next to the railway station, bought tickets to Gurzuf for 17 UAH. and went by bus. (buses every 30min. ) After 1.5 hours were in place. We went out at the fork, went down the hill (100m) and here it is - the Gurzufsky sanatorium.

We went to the administration, processed the documents and went to settle. We arrived at lunchtime (from 14 to 15), thanks to the administrators, they quickly issued us so that we could have lunch.
We lived in the "Breeze" building, a 9-storey building of the 70-80s. The rooms are standard, a toilet, a shower, a TV in the room. The beds are new, the bedding is clean. You can spend the night, but we didn’t come there to sit in the rooms... The only negative is the cleaning in the rooms, which leaves much to be desired. I wiped the dust on the bedside tables, TV, panels myself. : -)
All buildings (except "Breeze") are unique and named (Chaliapinsky, Chekhov, Gagarinsky). The park of the sanatorium is striking, it is practically not inferior to the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, and was founded 2 years earlier. Lots of sculptures, fountains, benches. The famous fountain "Night", the case when a copy is better than the original !! ! (I was in Vienna, so this fountain is only in the pictures there). All plants bloom and smell fragrant, as in aromatherapy sessions.
On the 3rd day they were invited to the doctors, the treatment was prescribed minimal. The best treatment is climatotherapy!! ! I really liked the halochamber (salt cave). Never miss out on the pool.
The food was not bad, there were 4 dishes to choose from, so I think that you can choose something for yourself. Children were given juices, confectionery, curds. The dining room is amazing, you immediately imagine yourself as an aristocrat and want to wear an evening dress.
And now I want to talk about excursions. You can order in a sanatorium, or you can go or walk on your own, while the cost will be 2 times cheaper.
In pedestrian, partly by public transport, you can go with a tourist Vladimir Grigorievich (accordion player). He leads to Ayu-Dag, to Artek, to Utes, to Krasnokamenka, to Partenit.
You can go anywhere by yourself:
Yalta - from the fork minibus number 31 (5 UAH) to the bus station in Yalta. Cross the road, take a trolley bus No. 1.3 or a minibus, get to the cinema "Spartak" and go down Pushkinskaya Street to the embankment.

Partenit - from the church on the minibus number 31b you get to the highway (2 UAH), change to the minibus number 46 (2 UAH) and to the dolphinarium (40-20 UAH), right there is the Aivazovsky rest house (35-15 UAH).
Nikitsky bot. garden - by minibus No. 31 to the Nikitsky Gate, and then by minibus No. 2 (2 UAH) or on foot to the garden (entrance 12-6 UAH) plus an excursion to form a group (6-3 UAH)
Massandra Palace - on the route number 31 to the palace, and then walk uphill for 20-30 minutes. Entrance to all palaces is standard - 40-20 UAH.
Ai-Petri and the Vorontsov Palace - by minibus number 31 to the bus station in Yalta, immediately change to a minibus to Ai-Petri. And here is the ascent to the mountain (descent and ascent for 40 UAH) and the park of the Vorontsov Palace.
Livadia Palace - bus number 31 to Yalta, change to bus number 5 and we are in Livadia.
From Gurzuf you can also go to Sevastopol, a direct minibus at 6-35 in the morning (26 UAH) back at 16-35. Travel time is 2.5 hours, but there is something to see.
In the resort itself, be sure to book a sea excursion along the coast, it's very beautiful. . .
Also, be sure to go on a tour of the park of the sanatorium, the librarian conducts, tells very interesting stories and legends (for free). And also visit the house-museum of Pushkin and Chekhov. (20 UAH for entrance tickets and accompaniment).
Visit the restaurant Korovin, live music, a beautiful view of the sea and the embankment.
And walk more, walk along the embankment and the village.
And of course, the sea, the sea and again the sea. The beaches are really small and the entrance is only according to sanatorium books.
Everything depends on ourselves. We didn't want to leave : -)
Have a nice and enjoyable holiday!!!
Note: in no case do not compare with Turkey or Egypt.
Enjoy Crimea!! !
