I was surprised to read extremely negative reviews about Gurzufsky, so I decided to share my impressions. In "Gurzufsky" we rested three times, of course, not everything was smooth, but there were a lot of positive moments!
Territory: the park is amazing! the territory is huge, which distinguishes Gurzufsky from modern new buildings, in which free space is an unaffordable luxury! in the first year on the territory of the former summer cinema there was a terrible trash can, syringes, but in the next two years it was removed there, we did not notice anything like that outside the central alleys, but the bed of the stream flowing through the territory turned out to be forgotten and abandoned, in the area of the medical building there were broken chairs and rubbish : (
It makes no sense to talk much about the fountains, they are magnificent!
I also note that the territory is guarded by the police (the platoon is located in one of the buildings), the entrance to the territory is according to sanatorium books, I don’t think that this in any way infringes on vacationers, since it is aimed at maintaining their own peace of mind, we forgot the sanatorium books a couple of times in building, but the guys remembered us and let us in without any problems.

Unlike many boarding houses, which also include the area of the balcony in the declared room area, the rooms in Gurzufsky are spacious, full-fledged 14-16 sq. m and simply huge loggias! The most unpleasant moment is the plumbing in the room, our toilet did not leak, there was no mold in the shower, but the smell left much to be desired, and the color of the plumbing itself said that it was simply begging for a good detergent !! ! I understand that the sanatorium is state-owned, but the administration should pay attention to the state of plumbing, because in this state it (plumbing) is quite capable of poisoning the impressions of the rest!!!
The cleaning of the rooms during the three years that we rested there left much to be desired: the room was cleaned only a couple of times in two weeks, although the administrator apologized during the settlement, said that there was not enough technical staff, and asked to be treated with understanding.
Beach: the sanatorium has 4 beaches, the entrance is according to the same sanatorium books, there is a nurse on the beach, a lifeguard is on duty, on each beach there are changing rooms, a toilet (clean! ), sunbeds - for free!
Treatment: I can’t fully evaluate it, since we only came to rest, but despite this, we were necessarily invited to see a doctor, and my husband nevertheless underwent an examination - he was very pleased with both the doctor and the medical staff!
Dining room: first of all, do not forget that this is a SANATORIUM and wait for home cooking! There were no complaints for the previous two years: very good pastries, dietary food, but quite edible, our son always ate the first, meat and fish dishes and salads without any problems. The menu for children and adults, there is a choice of several dishes. But last year the food was disgusting! For two weeks, they never served a pre-cooked chicken, the muffin was absolutely not edible, and the head of the dining room was disgusting boorish !! ! Our confrontation ended with a complaint in the corresponding book and the dining room became the second and main reason (the first is plumbing) for which we came to Gurzuf this year, but to a different boarding house.
But here's a strange thing: now we are resting in another boarding house, but we miss the expanses of Gurzufsky, its huge loggia, its amazing park and fountains !! !
