Gems and Koktebel

I already started writing a review, but alas, I did not finish. So I'm creating a new one...

Koktebel was not impressed with anything ayusolyutno, except for the monument to Voloshin, apparently a writer, there are no particular sights. Everywhere there is muzor, somewhere it smells of rot, and on the road where we passed behind a tree, there was a dead cat in general ....Not much pleasant. There are no roads. It's hard to get to the beach because there are a lot of people in the narrow passage. The only beauty of Koktebel is its nature. Beautiful mountains. You can go on an excursion along the extinct volcano Kara-Dag. There is a nude beach if anyone is interested. The beach itself is also not impressive. There are not even pebbles, but small pebbles, sometimes large ones, on which it is very uncomfortable to lie. Sun loungers sell for 20 hryvnia per day, as far as I remember. But there are many canteens where everything is cheap and tasty. On the beach where we went there were awnings from the sun. So if you managed to take a seat, then you can hide from the scorching sun.

The sea itself was clean at the beginning = the beginning of August. By the end of our trip, a terrible mud and mud appeared - we couldn’t go into the water. The weather is not good either. Clouds were constantly creeping up from 11-12 in the afternoon and periodically there was a thunderstorm and rain. You won't get sunburnt. Water is cold. Were on an excursion to Yalta, there water is porn milk. All the same, there is a difference between the south and the southeast of Crimea

I'll tell you about the hotel "Gems" itself ...barely found it. we were told that such a street does not exist at all. It turned out that she was just new and taxi drivers didn’t really know about her. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Koktebel opposite the water park. There is no road to it yet. It is necessary to go uphill on sand and stones. The beach is not the promised 500 meters, but more. And to get to a good beach, you generally have to go through the whole of Koktebel, for 20-30 minutes. Behind the hotel are two mountains, it was fun to climb them. The main thing is to be careful - they are very cool. The view from the hotel and around it is solid construction, garbage and unkempt territory.
The hotel itself is wooden, that is, the presence of any insects is guaranteed. Especially if you live on the second floor like us. Between the lamp and the wooden beam of the balcony, an enormous web formed every day - spiders the size of a walnut. It was scary to leave the room. Smoking is not allowed in the room because the house is wooden. There is no kettle for the same reasons - safety precautions. The room itself is good, but runaway centipedes, bees, spiders and some more jumping creatures that look like fleas . . In general, a wooden house is also wooden in Africa. Refrigerator, television, two bedside tables, a large closet, a chest of drawers ...everything is as it should be. Fan. Disadvantages - the shower faucet was broken, it was barely washed. They did not fix it for a long time, it broke again. If you do not turn off the water in the toilet each time, then all the water will pour out of it and the whole hotel will have no water at all!
They clean the room when you ask. There are only 36 beds in the whole hotel and in each room there is a family with a child.

Imagine what it is like to wake up every day from the screams and running around of children, you can’t get into the pool, there are children, etc. For couples like us, it was terrible. There is no one to talk to in particular. But for families, this is a good vacation - children in a closed area, always in sight, communicate with each other and you find a worthy company in the person of their parents. Food...Meals in their cafe on the menu. BUT. I myself saw a guy come and ask for what is on the menu. He was told, for the sake of you alone, we will not cook it. Eat what you have. They gave him sausages with something, having previously shouted in the kitchen-Man, will you still have sausages? No? but okay ....in general ....expensive and creepy ...By the way, you also need to run to their cafe for boiling water. Then, with boiling water, climbing the steep stairs to the second floor is not very convenient. In general, the impression of all this is, to put it mildly, terrible. Everything that I remembered I described. If so, please email. I will answer everyone

I will say one thing.
If you want to go to Koktebel, go to hotels near the sea, literally 10 steps from it, expensive, but comfortable and cozy. And if there is no money for an expensive hotel, just come and choose a house where you will live. Housing is rented everywhere and by everyone on every corner - the choice is huge!

Have a good rest!
