This year I realized what the Cradle of Paradise is! If you are going on vacation and want to get an unforgettable experience, then you need to come here, to Koktebel!
We arrived with a child on June 11 and settled in the ANDRE hotel. The staff is wonderful!! ! Inna Mikhailovna alone is worth something, she is cordial, hospitable and you can always turn to her on any issue, she knows all the residents by name and every morning and evening she is interested in how her guests relax, and Lyuba, a modest woman who unobtrusively monitors the cleanliness of the territory, is a real hostess.
The hotel itself is located within a favorable walking distance from the sea 250 meters, on the one hand there is a dolphinarium and on the other a water park. The balcony offers a wonderful view of the extinct volcano Kara-Dag. On the balconies there are plastic chairs on which it is pleasant to sit with a cup of fragrant Crimean tea and admire the mountains, breathe the sea air and just dream.
There is a summer kitchen on site, if you want to cook for yourself, and a gazebo with barbecue facilities. But my son and I liked the HOME dining on the embankment, they cook very tasty and the price pleases, and you don’t need to stand at the stove and there is more opportunity to devote to relaxation.
On the very first day of our stay, we visited the grave of Maximilian Voloshin, it is located on a high mountain and, frankly, it was hard for a child to climb. But when we reached the top, an amazing view of Koktebel opened up. A fabulous cradle of a piece of Paradise!
Every day we found new adventures. And we advise the guests of Koktebel. Be sure to visit the boat trip under the Scarlet Sails around the Kara-Dag volcano to the Golden Gates, swimming in the open sea and the Black Sea dolphins is not to be forgotten!
Dolphinarium is a separate story that will delight both children and adults. A real show that causes joy and even sentimental tears. Swimming with dolphins costs 2500 rubles. It is a pity that this information is not available at the box office and not everyone who wants to swim with a dolphin takes that kind of money with them to the performance. They also take photos with dolphins on your camera 500 rubles for a few frames and 300 rubles for a photo with a fur seal.
If you want to see the performance of dolphins and seals again, but at a cheaper price and on a smaller scale, then you should visit the Biostation (bus 101), an excellent museum of nature, an aquarium with stingray fish feeding and of course a dolphinarium. Also at the Biostation there are walking tours on the Kara-Dag volcano (at 8-00 and at 15-00). For the Biostation, you should devote a day if you want to see all of the above, the bus runs every 30-40 minutes from any stop in Koktebel to the final one.
Nature, nature and nature, an unforgettable experience from a walk on Mount Chamelion. This mountain changes color depending on the mood of the weather. From the balcony of the hotel you can also admire it. The sun is shining and the golden mountain shimmers, as soon as the clouds appear, it becomes a gray gloomy color, as if offended. And the amazing Kara-Dag, bizarre forms of solidified lava. You can also see the face of a girl looking out of the water, the outline of the profile of M. Voloshin, bizarre dragons and frogs and much more, everything depends on your imagination. The chirping of cicadas and grasshoppers, the heady aroma of herbs, the sea breeze and the sound of the waves sorting through the pebbles, and everything is here in one place. Sometimes the heart stops from the grandeur and splendor of mother nature.
And in the evening. . . You definitely need to take a couple of hours for a walk along the embankment. There is a pleasant silence and coolness. If you go out to the pier and look at the village, it seems that in the twilight darkness the magical lights of some fabulous town are flickering and bewitching. And the low sky with a scattering of stars covers you like an exquisite soft shawl
People walk sedately and taste the aromas of the sea coast and pleasant wine. Many street cafes and restaurants lure visitors with their aromas and music. Music sounds from every cafe, often even live! Euphoria picks up the place of execution at the Voloshin Museum. Yes, be sure to go there. Every evening, something different, except for artists and a gray-haired sorcerer, they play guitars and tom-toms, sing and dance, and someone just listens, watches and enjoys.
The evening is coming to an end, people are starting to disperse and we are tired, but happy, we go to our hotel. But the evening is not over for us. We are waiting for a concert and not just a concert, but the singing of frogs. The most beautiful overflows of croaking of many frogs. Night song in silence! An unforgettable experience, surprise and delight!
It's morning again and we run to the beach. 7 o'clock and there are still few people, clear and gentle water, sorting through colored pebbles. By the way, everyone who has visited Koktebel will certainly bring home a beautiful green and beige jasper, as well as a rare red one. You can’t tear yourself away, the hand reaches out to pick up another pebble and take it as a keepsake, we collected 2 kilograms and brought it to Novosibirsk. Friends and acquaintances will definitely receive a small piece from the cradle of Paradise-Koktebel with wishes of all the best.
