Having read several reviews about the Crimean Primorye boarding house before the trip, I was determined that I would end up in some terrible place with poor food and far from comfortable accommodation.
However, everything turned out to be just fine - I liked the room (we lived in the 2nd building, the windows overlooked the pool, the room was clean, with a fairly fresh renovation and modern furniture, the maid cleans every day, there is a refrigerator and a TV), and the location of the building ( to the dining room-2 minutes, to the beach-3), and the territory on which the boarding house is located is a fairly large park with various coniferous plants, everything is clean, all this is followed by an army of gardeners.
As for nutrition, not everything is as scary as some describe. I recommend signing up for the first shift (at 08:30) - then all the dishes are fresh, and the tables are clean, besides, you won’t have to have dinner at 19:30 (in my opinion, this is too late). The fact that waitresses snatch plates from their hands, because the second shift will soon pass, I personally have never come across, although I basically left the dining room as one of the last. In general, the staff is polite, the only negative is that sometimes there were some overlaps and we had to wait a long time for a change of dishes. As for the menu, if you know what dishes are better to order, then you can eat quite normally. I strongly do not recommend ordering a carrot casserole, beef pudding and various beetroot casseroles; field soup and kharcho are also not very tasty.

I was especially pleased with the beach - the water is very clean, at a depth of 3 meters you can see the bottom, although sometimes the waves bring jellyfish and this is not very pleasant. On such days we went to the pool, which, in my opinion, costs 20 hryvnia, which you have to pay for entry. The water in it is clean - filters are constantly working, and surprisingly there is no chlorine. By the way, last year's reviews mentioned that when there were waves on the sea, everyone went to the pool together, because the entrance for the residents of the 2nd building was free. This year, this was not observed - it’s just a pity for everyone to pay money, so you have a bunch of free sunbeds and a practically free pool at your disposal for not so much money.
I was very surprised by the statement that 50 UAH. for a sea excursion - this is very expensive, especially considering that a Muscovite wrote this. Although this is a matter of taste - if someone likes to push around in a stuffy minibus and admire the steppe and vineyards outside the window - this is his business. Personally, I really enjoyed the tour.
The only shock was the prices for food, and especially for water, it is simply golden.
In general, I liked the rest, it was not boring, I did not want to leave. And for those who only need a large embankment with a full range of cafes, bars, clubs, and do not care about everything else, I advise you to go somewhere to Koktebel or another similar place.
