In September 2008, after a very long break (about 20 years), my wife and I decided to spend a vacation in the Crimea. The choice fell on the New World because of its remoteness from noisy places - we have enough noise and glamor in Moscow too... Well, in this small village there is simply no alternative to "Prince Golitsyn", as it turned out! Maybe, of course, this is a 3-star hotel, but it seemed to us that a solid 4 stars could easily be given to it! Everything is so good that it is called "in the mind" and to the point that you are amazed! Cozy spacious rooms with magnificent beds and orthopedic mattresses allow you to relax and recover after walking in the mountains and swimming and sunbathing. Finishing with natural materials: marble, granite and wood. The design of the rooms is in a good style. It so happened that the first couple of days we spent in a room with a sea view, and later moved to a room with a mountain view. So, with a view of the mountains, it suited us more, since it was possible to walk on the balcony even in a negligee - no one sees you, amazing cypresses and junipers grow right in front of the balcony (squirrels jump), and the room overlooking the sea, at the same time overlooks the central entrance to the hotel, and, accordingly, everyone who walks along the main alley (and people walk from the beach and to the beach) can see everything that is happening on the balcony... Yes, and the sea view spoils the ugly boarding house "New World" soviet buildings... Well, what is the room with a view of the mountains at 100 gr. cheaper, also speaks in his favor.
The staff is very friendly and polite. Fresh beach towels are issued on demand, no matter how many times you go to the beach (before breakfast, please! after lunch, fresh dry towels again! ). Breakfast is very diverse, with an abundance of dairy and meat products. And local pancakes are something! Especially with apples and cinnamon! Yes, if you eat in a restaurant both at lunch and dinner, it will be expensive... But, believe me, to sit in the evening in a comfortable gazebo in the hotel park to the sound of cicadas and eat a deliciously cooked, one might even say - exquisite, dinner... It's worth it!!!
The hotel's beach is small, but there is always a free sun lounger or trestle bed, and a polite beach worker will move them, at your request, even into the very water. The sea water is crystal clear! And if you feel like exotic things, then you can go to the royal beach or to the robber's bay, where the waves crash against the stones with billions of splashes! . .

A 15-minute drive from the Genoese fortress - you can climb it all day and not get bored! And after a walk through the noisy Sudak, it's nice to return to the miracle hotel and drink a chilled bottle of champagne produced by a local champagne factory - another attraction of the New World.
In general, we highly recommend staying at the Knyaz Golitsyn Hotel to all those who appreciate good service, silence and beautiful nature and who are not sorry to pay about 800-900 gr per day from a double room for all this.
