Was in August 2010 in the village of Utyos, in one of the private hotels. Those who wrote that the Cliff is a great place to relax - they lied vilely. The settlement was created on the basis of 10 garages near the treatment facilities of the sanatorium "Utyos". And, if for the sanatorium these aeration structures do not constitute a problem, then in the village every evening, when the air starts to come from the mountains, the stench is incredible. Add here the almost complete absence of vegetation and gas pollution. Hand on heart, I will say that I was surprised that the air is cleaner at Domodedovo Airport. You may not believe me, but that's how it is.

In general, for the first time in my life I saw a special manifestation of resort madness - beaches are being concreted in this village!

Yes, yes, they make platforms two garages wide, concrete them, paint them and attach a ladder to the sea. There is nothing to do with children on such a playground - they will immediately fall off it, or you need to hold their hand all the time. Anyone who thought of this before, most likely lived his entire adult life in a remote village. The limit of his dreams was a concrete parade ground. And such a person is clearly unaware that city dwellers go to the sea, to the Crimea, precisely for nature. And to come to a village in which you can’t walk or drive from the wrong building, in which there is no vegetation, in which concrete beaches - it’s just outrageous over the concept of rest.

A separate topic is that in the village of Utyos they call the proud word "boathouse". I personally do not know what it is, but here they call micro-hotels 2-3 garages wide and 5-7-storey building high. There are no elevators inside, of course. Well, maybe in which of the boathouses there is, I did not see it. Because there is not enough space, then the stairs are designed by specialists from the morflot - narrow and high steps, a steep angle of the stairs and, what is most surprising with this design, are the railings, which, in the process of descending the ascent, pass from one hand to another, often simply missing 3 steps. This is especially pleasing if you have a small child on one arm.
