We have been visiting Bukovel since 2008. We stopped at different times in Yaremche, in Tatariv, in Vorokhta. This year I wanted to be closer to Buka, we did not go by car. According to the reviews, we chose Villa Elena. The rooms correspond to the description and photos on the hotel website. In principle, the furniture and linen are new, there is a refrigerator and a kettle, but there is no safe. The room was very warm and hot water all the time, drinking water is brought in bottles. The staff responds quickly to all requests. The owner in the mornings even asked how we slept. As for cleaning - when we arrived it was clean, only garbage was taken out daily, and, for example, our shower was leaking, they didn’t wipe the puddle, it dried up by itself and was visible on the black tiles. Well they organized a ski drying room.
With food, the situation is as follows, we were in a period when breakfast was not included in the price. Omelette with ham and cheese for 22 UAH. for breakfast - it is a square 7 * 7 cm and a height of 1 cm on top of a sausage ring and grated cheese, 1 pickled cucumber and ketchup 0.5 teaspoon and all this is placed on a plate with a diameter of about 26 cm. Dumplings for 25 UAH. - also with a gulkin nose, while completely without salt. Tea - 10 UAH, coffee - 30 UAH. My boys, 16 and 18 years old, simply considered it a mockery, it’s not realistic to eat there for normal money, but what can you do, it’s very close to Buka. We liked only banosh - a plate 30 UAH. As for the proximity to the ski lifts, from the windows you can see 1 lift, from it along the highway 600 meters, then 300 meters uphill, and very steep. It seems to be sprinkled, but I wouldn’t dare to drive in my passenger car. On foot without skis and in normal shoes go 20-25 minutes, once we went down the gardens with skis and in ski boots, went down for 30-35 minutes, very hard. The villa has its own driver Ivan, who for 25 UAH. carries to and from any lift. Drivers on Buka near 1 ski lift, when we asked them how much it would cost to drive up to the villa, when we found out that it was uphill, they broke 50 UAH, well, 40 UAH. minimum. The villa has a sauna, everything is done beautifully, but 1 hour is 270 UAH, which is a bit expensive for me. And also about soundproofing, it is absent, I don’t know how and when this villa was built, but the cracks in the doors are as thick as a finger. But I understand this is a problem in all hotels in the Carpathians. True, on the 2nd day after riding the roller coaster, you come and sleep like a log and do not react to sounds. In fact, we only spent the night in the room, because. at 7-50 we already got out on the hill, and came back by 20 o'clock. I don't know if I will go there again. But if you go by car, it’s better to stay away from Bukovel, where prices for housing and food will be lower.
